Skinner's a bloody champ. Great Poet. Warranted comparisons to Larkin.  Horrible Rapper. Great Producer. Haven't really listened to his latest though.

Oh and those lyrics, great as they may be, will eventually lead us back to the cluster**** of Evanescence and Linkin Park rhythms and rhymes.

Sunn O))) - Caveman Salad

Yeah, the only one of his I know is Original Pirate Material. It's pretty boss, boss. Took awhile to get used to the whole "British rapper" thing, but once I did I really started to like it. Especially the enunciation.

In Flames - Vanishing Light

A vanishing light

The end of a compromise

A fury and rage

A dream will be managed

I'm sure Evanescence and Linkin Park will be forthcoming Baley, you can always count on me for that. Whether anyone else posts lyrics or not.

"

Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.

Lewis Black Live on Broadway

I had thought that some of nature's journeymen had made men and not made them well, for they imitated humanity so abominably. - Book of Counted Sorrows

'Cause I won't know the man that kills me

and I don't know these men I kill

but we all wind up on the same side

'cause ain't none of us doin' god's will.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

The Streets - It's Too Late

It's about a guy who was always late, and it came back to bite him. There's a moral here! Last verse:

I said meet me at the gates

Leave now don't be late

I waited for a while listening to her voicemail, mind set sail

Then the facts turned me pale, wind rain and hail

My fears unveiled, for my fair female

She'd walked away, too little too late

I step up the pace, walk past the gates, rain runs over my face

Spirit falls from grace

I purchase a hazy escape at the alcohol place in the chase

Sat down I got a fat frown

Weeping and drowning my senses

For this love game's expensive

I walk in a trance

Got a wounded soldier stance

The everyday geezers stares throw me off balance

Now nothing holds significance

And nothing holds relavance

'Cause the only thing I can see is her elegance

baby, take off your beret

everyone's a critic and most people are DJs

Velvet Revolver - Do It For The Kids

I wanna be your manchild

Let's all go it hog-wild

She said I'll see you later

I always gravitate to her

Fightstar - Paint Your Target

You can burn it all

Rally around the table if you want to

Just to argue out the last scenes of us

You can end it all

I'm sorry enough to tell you that I'm okay

And I'm never gonna see you again.

While I try to finish the current chapter, which has had no end of delays as I try to accomodate people in my life, I was listening to:

Ruby Tuesday -- Rolling Stones

unfortunately, my wife hates the Stones, Pink Floyd, and a whole host of other folks and so I've settled on the more "upbeat:"

Here Comes Your Man -- Pixies

Hahahahaha

Eldar is listening to Pixies.

Not only that, but he is listening to a song about the bombs dropped on Japan.

Something from the David Byrne album My Life in the Bush of Ghost that Brian Eno produced. I've only been a moderate Talking Heads fan over the years but I find myself listening to this album quite a bit.

Its hard to believe this came out in '81

People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
