  1. 1. What do you think has happened to Revan?

    • Revan is dead, he/she has been killed by the 'True Sith...
      7
    • Revan has been captured by the 'True Sith'...
      10
    • Revan still has not discovered the 'True Sith' and is still looking for clues concerning there whereabouts...
      5
    • Revan's ship was attacked in the unknown regions causing his/her ship to crashland on an unknown planet in the unknown regions, resulting in Revan being stuck/stranded in the unknown regions...
      9
    • Revan is single handedly trying to destroy the 'True Sith' for his/her own reasons either battling them face to face or sort of as an assassin, picking as many of them off as possible whilst remaining undetected...
      15
    • Revan has discovered the 'True Sith' and is simply spying on them and trying to obtain information concerning what there plans are, etc...
      16
    • If you set Revan as LS in KOTOR III perhaps Revan fell to the DS once again and has started a civil war between the 'True Sith', gathering his/her own followers in an attempt to become the Dark Lord of the True Sith and overthrow the current Dark Lord

    • None of the above. If you have any other suggestions, please clarify,

Yes, the battle would go something like this:

Vong: We are the mighty Vong warriors, we want you to die for our gods! Now die!

Reven: *Force Crush*

Vong: *gets crushed into a pulp...*

Reven: Any other challengers?

i didnt know that the battle would last that long.

Vong: We will ru....ugh

*vong gets force choke by Revan*

*Revan uses Force lightning*

*Vong dies*

That is what the battle would happen Regardless of Revan's alignment.

The Battle would be over before it began.

Well, I think people only know my position - whether LS or DS in K1, I think Revan is staging a civil war inside the empire of the true Sith, and in order to do so he (or she) has embraced the dark side and is now attempting the claim the title of dark lord.

He spared some world (notably Onderon) during the Mandalorian Wars, because he needed it as a later outpost in his war with the true Sith, except Malak's betrayal has ruined that plan.

If Revan ended up DS in K1, this is just an extension of his quest for power. It took a year for him to remember the threat of the true Sith after his amnesia, but once he did, he saw that as a much greater threat to his own empire than the failing republic, and so he went to conquer the greatest enemy. Once he becomes dark lord of the true Sith, he'll conquer the republic in short order. He left his companions behind, because Malak's betrayal taught him, that he cannot trust anyone else, not even Bastila.

If Revan was LS in K1, he remembered the threat of the true Sith, and that he originally embraced the dark side to stop their impending invasion. He meant to do a little evil to prevent a greater one. Instead he was seduced by the dark side and attempted to conquer the republic he had sworn to protect. Now he has no fleet, but worse, he no longer trusts himself to resist the dark side. So the only way he saw to end the threat, was to go to the true Sith empire, sacrifice himself to the dark side again, and then attempt to subvert the regime of the dark lord of the true Sith from within by starting a civil war. And he left his friends behind, because he did not want to endanger them either through the true Sith or to his own dark self as Darth Revan.

In either case, that explains where Revan is, and what he has been doing for all this time.

I really like this explanation. To me it makes the most sense, even if your Revan was LS in K1, I'd say Jediphile's explanation is probably one of themost accurate and creative one's I've read. :)

This way Revan could be in K3, as a Sith Lord with a mask, it would make things a hell of a lot easier for the developers. Perhaps the DS Exile would join Revan and wear the mask of Darth Nihilus and perhaps LS Exile gets either killed by Revan in the unknown regions or is defeated by Revan and then turned to the dark side so then he/she wears the mask of Darth Nihilus. This way you don't have to worry about their appearences or anything else complicated about them.

You definately must be allowed to select the genders and alignments of Revan and the Exile in K3. I also understand that in order to achieve a good storyline and to make a good game you'd have to cover everything and that would take A LOT of writing and hard work but it would cost too much money and Obsidian would probably run out of time or will be pressured by LucasArts into an early release date resulting in a rushed, cut, bug and glitch ridden game and we don't want that but we also don't want them to just abandon this story arch and move on to a new one, not yet anyway, that would just be weak, finish what you started OE, let them make K3 LucasArts, also, giving Revan and the Exile fixed genders, alignments, appearences and everything else would just be ****HOUSE, UNFAIR AND LAZY, I WARN THE GAME DEVELOPERS OF K3 NOT TO DO THIS!!!

So my point of all this is, yes, we should be able to select the genders and alignments of Revan and the Exile and it should have some effect or impact on the game itself but I also wouldn't mind if give them fixed alignments DURING the game meaning even if Revan and the Exile were LS in K1 and K2 they will be DS, make them scripted characters for this one, just only so the developers don't have a mountain load of work to do and have more time. A game like K3 should take anything ranging from two and a half-three years to make.

Revan being dead is too lame, weak and anti-climatic, even though it is the easiest thing for the developers to do, it's just not fair to the fans, Revan being captured wouldn't make too much sense, you think they'd just kill Revan, what would they need him/her for? Besides, they wouldn't keep Revan prisoner for such a long time. Revan must have discovered the 'True Sith', otherwise, Revan probably would have returned to Republic Space, I don't mind if Revan is stuck somewhere in the unknown regions but not captured, that's beleivable if executed properly, Revan fighting the 'True Sith' all by himself/herself is just retarded because not even Revan could stand up against an entire Empire or army, so I tend to favour Jediphile's explanation and hope the possible future game developers of K3 reads what he wrote.

Well I am working on the Capture Theory and tie it to the level drop to make Revan playable again.

Just say, They keep him alive at first for information about the Republic and the Sith Rebellion.

But at each turn, Revan refuses to cooperate and they torture sadisticly.

But they give up on the information part, so they keep him alive and make him a living example of one thousand years of hatred towards the Jedi and the Republic.

The Escape of Revan and the other prisoners will be superb and a bloodbath which Hk-47 would be proud of.

A new Hk Droid call Hk-51 inflinator unit. He is all black with red eyes and he is superior to the rest of the older hk generation in the sense he can use melee weapons and has solider feat progression with expert feat levels and scoundrels sneak attacks.

Hk-47 will be the best of kotor 1 and 2 in the sense he has all of the best features of both appearances.

Hk-47 will also be involved in Revan's escape plans.

True. Though I must admit that I'd still like to set their appareances at some point, since I'd like for both Revan and the Exile to be playable without masks toward the end of K3.

I didn't write this into my K3 plot, but if Revan is DS, the devs could make him succesful in his quest to assume the throne of the dark lord of the true Sith and be the new major villain of K3. The player then has to either overthrow (= kill) Revan or (DS choice) kill him and take the throne himself. That way you don't have to "undo" the choice of K1 plotwise. I would not worry so much about the DS/LS choice for the Exile, though, since it had hardly any impact on how K2 unfolded IMHO.

I think Revan is finding the true sith and he needs companions like the Exile. The Exile knew Revan from the mandalorian wars and she would gladly help him in finding the true sith.

The level thing doesn't make the slightest difference, it's just the game that's all.

Though I doubt it would be in the game. I'm sure (a DS Revan at least) would forsee the Exile's coming and simply lay low and recruit a few people to the cause. When the Exile came he/she would be exploited and the wound used as a lightning war tactic to completely destroy worlds.

I think that you should choose what happens to them based on your choices as a whole new character. For Revan you hear constantly of the Dark Jedi that has risen with many defectors to his/her cause to challenge the Sith. And you also hear whispers of a deadly warrior that appears to be able to kill all challengers before they can even ignite their lightsabers. This not only conceals LS or DS intentions on both Revan and Exile, but it gives them a story that backs their past doings. Revan can be hooded and junk and Exile could just be randomly generated I guess. Then whatever goes from there goes from there.

I think that it would be ridiculous to introduce a third main character at this point in the story. The ideal situation would be two seperate but ultimately converging storylines involving Revan and the Exile. However, considering the fact that in order to be a proper sequel the third should have multiple paths based on PC choices, the ideal might be too complex to come to fruition.

but then not everyone would want to replay revan and or exile, perhaps not anyone in your kotor1 and 2 parties, so it is important that we need a new character, someone who perfectly fits and gives a new experience to the game

And how do you justify dropping a third main character toward the end of a series that already has two well-defined primary characters and a barrel full of secondary characters. It is bad enough that the villians keep changing. And you want there to be a third PC in this game? That is a big no-no as a story-telling device.
