Will Feargus dance the naked dance if he'sa a top ten member?! We'll see tomorrow. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish! Musopticon?
Will Feargus dance the naked dance if he'sa a top ten member?! We'll see tomorrow. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd prefer not seeing that. This might be interesting, although I have no doubt that mine and their view on what is hot and what's not will differ greatly. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. mkreku
I could bet money on Spore (and Will Wright) taking the number one spot. Also, I could bet money on zero european developers making the list, except perhaps Rockstar (which will place extremely high, naturally). Edit: Typo again. Hurlshort
I bet it will only be developers at the GDC this week. That's likely why they are writing the piece.

Volourn
My predictions on some known devs around here: Obsidian: Low - 90 High - 25 Bioware: Low - 75 High - 10 Squaresoft: Low - 30 High - 1 Bethesda: Low - 60 High - 5 Blizzard: Low - 20 High - 1 DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250. Enoch
By "developers," do they mean studios or people? I'd say the latter is far more likely. It would be pretty tough to pad a list of "hot" studios all the way out to 100.

Musopticon?
Why was Molyneux orginally hailed as such a messiah, before the B&W "incident? I'd say that's pretty impressive. ShadowPaladin V1.0
http://www.webchats.tv/webchat.php?ID=260 On Monday Miyamoto was invited to Paris to receive a knighthood 'of the Order of Arts and Letters' from the French Ministry of Culture - the first time a videogame designer has been granted such a prestigious award. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]

mkreku
I was pretty disappointed with the list, but it was as expected. The Xbox 360 is all the hype right now, and if you've even hinted at having a "next-gen" project ongoing, you made that list. I liked Will Wright, Feargus and a bunch of the japanese veterans, but they "forgot" an awful lot of influential talent out there and promote a bunch of mediocre Xbox 360-people.
