Deraldin
Go Finland! Nice penalty killing by the Fins right now. Nevermind, the Finns just self-destructed. <_< Edited February 14, 2006 by Deraldin
LadyCrimson
I haven't noticed the US play a single hockey game in their coverage yet. Maybe I missed it...or maybe, countries cater their broadcasts to events they think their citizens will be most interested in....nah, couldn't be. :D We aren't even pre-empting the daytime soaps like we used to. Bah, weak. “Things are as they are. Diamond
4G 3S 2B for Russia. Figure skating should give +1G. It doesn't matter whether you ask Plushenko's rivals, former Olympic champions or skating critics, they all have the same answer. On Tuesday, the Russian favourite proved why. His dazzling performance to Puccini's Tosca earned him 90.66 points, the highest mark in the short programme since the new scoring system was introduced following the 2002 Olympics pairs scandal, and gave him a cushion of more than 10 points going into Thursday's free skate. Go go Plushenko!
