Democratus (Anachronox) - It's a freaking planet, how can it NOT be hilarious?

Jessica & Kyle (Lunar) - Priceless dialogue between those two

Sheryl & Lutz (Arc the Lad III) - ditto, I love Working Designs ;_;

I like both Cassidy and Tycho from the Fallout series. Others that I have liked, but not in my top ten, are Xanos, Imoen, Annah, Mission, VV, Tiax (what a lovable psychotic gnome!), Viconia, and Nines.

1. Diego (Gothic & Gothic 2 and probably Gothic 3): It's was such a great thing to find a friendly face in the prison camp!

2. Mike Toreno (GTA: San Andreas): How cool is James Woods?!

3. Ada Wong (Resident Evil 4): Lethal girl in a red dress.. yummy.

4. Max (Wasteland): Any NPC that you get to assemble yourself gets on my list.

5. Mud (Gothic): One of those annoying NPC's.. but this one you get to kill!

 

I can't think of any more memorable NPC's right now.

I forgot Tycho. But he and Cassidy could be considered the same in a sense. Both appeared in leather armor, both had a thing for shotguns.

Kreia (Kotor2) - really a nasty piece of work. :ph34r:

Virgil (Arcanum) - it's great to see him struggling with his religion and the revelations that come during the game.

Juhani (Kotor) - love the voice.

Deekin (NWN) - I think his funniest moment was doing the theme from Fame.

Dupre (Ultima) - great fun for many games, and then the stunner on Serpent Isle. :'(

Annah (Torment) - nicely prickly, though with my grandmother's accent.

 

If we were including non-party NPCs, I would list pretty much the entire cast of the Quest for Glory games, with a special mention for the Spielburg Antwerp.
