thepixiesrock Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 I use to have Duck Hunter for NES with the gun. That was wicked. Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
Dark_Raven Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I use to have Duck Hunter for NES with the gun. That was wicked. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes it was. That's the only use that gun had was that one game if I recall correctly. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
LadyCrimson Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I never did buy Grim Fandango...always meant to, it had such great reviews & looked so funky. So far the lists seem dominated by rpg's/adventure & a few shooters. Given this forum, not surprising. Some other non-rpg games that I liked a lot: Roller Coaster Tycoon series, Casear3, Stronghold. “Things are as they are. GhostofAnakin Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 My favorites change constantly depending on my mood, so there's not much point in listing them. Okay I will anyways, based on what I'm currently or recently played: Baldurs Gate 2 Resident Evil 4 "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Gabrielle Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 My favorites change constantly depending on my mood, so there's not much point in listing them. Okay I will anyways, based on what I'm currently or recently played: Baldurs Gate 2 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good choice with that one. What romance are you doing if any?
Tel Aviv Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 (edited) The obvious choices really. Grim Fandango, if only for the endless beatnik poetry, "don't pet the cat that way, the telephone is for me" Ahh, remember peak period LA. Sam and Max, Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island. Great Times. Also BG, SOA, TOB, PS:T and other abbreviations as well. Though Deus Ex and Anachronox were both fine games too. The scene when Boots and Grumpos are asking for the gangrenous sock = brilliance. Edited January 19, 2006 by Tel Aviv
