Darth Drabek Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Duke Nukem Forever. All kidding aside, I won't be buying one for a few years anyway until the price drops a few hundred (if I buy one at all), but I would love to see next-gen versions of some of my favorite series: Road Rash and Virtua Tennis come to mind. That tennis game was so much fun for the DC back in the day. Another Hydro Thunder would be nice too. Also, more story-driven, party-based RPGs in the KOTOR vein would be very welcome indeed (Star Wars universe totally optional) and might persuade me to buy one sooner. And where's my Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold sequel? baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
Surreptishus Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 A GTA game with create-a-character, more than one outcome and a neat story too. It has to be GTA though, i don't like any of the rip offs. I would also like the ultimate beat em up, tekken based and online. ...oh and the prison rpg.
Plano Skywalker Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 ...oh and the prison rpg. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know that it is an RPG per se but there is an Xbox game called Dead to Rights in which you have to break out of prison.... cigarettes act as a type of currency.

Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
Surreptishus Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 are you going to perform a spell to reverse time or something?
Llyranor Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 What? You guys are activating the Bill Gates assassination protocol without me? (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Gabrielle Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 May it be infested with bugs and not perform correctly.
Dark Moth Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I'd secretly love to get a 360 sometime because I am an obsessive fanboy. I know, the firehazard thing is grossly exaggerated, but I'll say it anyway to satisfy my PC fanboyism. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fixed!
Surreptishus Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 If there's one thing that raises Hades' ire, its that ^

karka Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 C'mon guys! If PNJ is a 360 title, lots of you will buy it.
Judge Hades Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Its pure idiocy. Mothman can't think of a proper retort so he decides to go on the lame path.
Gabrielle Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 C'mon guys! If PNJ is a 360 title, lots of you will buy it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Afraid not. One lost sale by me.
Judge Hades Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Agreed. If X Box 360 had an HD DVD and a much smaller and more efficient PSU then I would consider getting it, but as it stands now there is no way in **** I would buy it. Like I said I am leaning towards the PS3.
SteveThaiBinh Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 (edited) I suppose I would buy a console so I could play one game, if that game were good enough (I bought a 386 to play Ultima VII). I don't think any of the forthcoming XBox360 games would qualify, except maybe Dreamfall, and that's on PC anyway. PNJ? We'll have to see. Llyranor Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Hopefully MS will be giving away free copies of the 360 for every purchase of PNJ. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)

karka Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Personally, i really don't care tech. specs. and 360's titles seem much more interesting to me than PS3's titles. At least 360 won't be dominated by Japanese titles. Probably i will buy a 360 first and than(after 2 or 3 years) a PS3. Oh, hell!! I've forgotten Revo! I need moneey!
Gabrielle Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Microshaft was good until they got into consoles. Like whats the deal, owning the internet and computer software isn't good enough?
Llyranor Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I'm sweeter. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
