Revan and the exile

Alright I've been gone for a while from these boards and recently went to the gamefaq boards in which i was recieved with topics about Revan vs the exile.

 

Now I know this might be flamebait but I have one simple question to ask.

 

In Kotor2 I forget who, but somebody says that revan let the exile go so he or she could see the ways of the jedi or something along those lines. Now with the knowledge that Revan had about the ds and the kinds of things that could happen with force bonds do you think Revan already knew what would happen to the exile thus not fearing what he would become? If this were the case this whole revan vs exile thing would be put to rest.Since if he did know who would dare create something stronger than himself especially a sith lord.

I am not surprised if that is true. Revan is a great planner. So he probaly have his reasons in keeping the Exile alive after M5.

Wasn't the Exile the general in charge of giving the order to destroy Malachor, though? I thought I remembered that from the game. Apologies if incorrect, I'm brand-spankin'-new to the whole KotOR saga.

Just checked hk says that malak wanted you killed but revan decided to let u live. Its in one of hk 47s convos.

@ Commissar - Yeah I believe Exile did give the order to use the MSG on M5. But I don't think the game says anything about "Revan letting the Exil go." That suggests that Revan and the Exile had fought and Revan had beat the Exile's ass and then let him go.

I didnt get the vo lol I maxed the influence with hk47 in which he goes on talking about it.

I would try to tell you when the convo appears but i recently deleted all my files to start a new one just for fun to keep me entertained till i can get my 360.

How did you get max influence with HK? I don't think I was able. Probably why I missed the convo. I got him to talk about Revan though.

i think I remember a fanfic somewhere that told that, I think that's where you remember that. tho i dont remember what the fanfic is and where it was

Never found the VO. But I didn't check all the files either. I got bored, and tired about half through.

no i havent read a fanfic and to get max influence with hk47 i usually leave all the killables untouched like in citadel and do narshada first.Then go to dantoine get the influence kill the other 2 losers in citadel get more influence, I am like 99 percent sure i heard him say it.
