Mojo Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Very Similar to Hades Thread... But I love my life at the moment... In fact I dont think it will get any better.. About 3 months ago I started a new job where the pay is awsome, the hours are good, im not stuck in an office all day and I can surf the net. Also I am in the process of building my first house, which is currently running ahead of schedule. And in 5 months time I am going to get married to the woman I love. So all in all life is pretty good at the moment
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Like I said in Hades thread. The only thing with having a perfect life is things can only ever get worse. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
kumquatq3 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Would you like a cookie? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Word is you already give your cookies to hades "
Mojo Posted November 29, 2005 Author Posted November 29, 2005 Like I said in Hades thread. The only thing with having a perfect life is things can only ever get worse. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But I have had my fair share of rotten luck so it is about time things started looking up... I have had 26 years of the low life, so I am now looking forward to 26 years of the good life...
Gabrielle Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Would you like a cookie? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Word is you already give your cookies to hades " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have some clover, smoke it. It's been sprayed by DDT.
kumquatq3 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 It's been sprayed by DDT. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did you and Hades spray it together? mmmmmm.....love DDT
Darth_Schmarth Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Well, Mojo, life is all about balancing neatly on the bar of doom so keep it up. ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum
LoneWolf16 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 (edited) Mojo, you smug bastard. Good luck in all your endeavors... Oh, and try to...you know...not poke the Grizzly, or so to speak. Edited November 29, 2005 by LoneWolf16 I had thought that some of nature's journeymen had made men and not made them well, for they imitated humanity so abominably. - Book of Counted Sorrows 'Cause I won't know the man that kills me and I don't know these men I kill but we all wind up on the same side 'cause ain't none of us doin' god's will. - Everlast
dufflover Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 (edited) Well good for you...(really) Just remember to keep your expectations in check I suppose. No, not regarding your fiancee/wife but jobs can take major turns for the worst and your house might not finish the way it started (I'm sure you took care in designing it though ). I guess you could consider my version of a "My life" thread to be the relationships thread Edited November 29, 2005 by dufflover Pure Pazaak - The Stand-alone Multiplayer Pazaak Game (link to Obsidian board thread) Pure Pazaak website (big thank you to fingolfin)
Dark Moth Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 (edited) Hey, congatulations! Don't get c0cky, now. (stupid board filters) Maybe you'd like to send Hades a teddy bear? Edited November 29, 2005 by Mothman
kirottu Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 And in 5 months time I am going to get married to the woman I love. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hate you. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Sarjahurmaaja. Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 (edited) No less than six months, and no more than full year from now, you'll discover... 1.) ... you don't have a job, 2.) ... something bad about your house and 3.) ... the woman you love doesn't love you back. At least, not the way she does the mailman! All that because you felt uppity enough to temp fate. Sucks, huh? Edited November 29, 2005 by Sarjahurmaaja. 9/30 -- NEVER FORGET!

" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So do I And I dont mean to gloat, but I feel I have had my fair share of bad luck over the times, so now it is only fair that some good should happen. Im not expecting it to last forever(well apart from the marriage) as all good things will come to a end but untill it happens I am going to enjoy it as: 1...There are other jobs 2...Unless the house is built on an ancient burial ground, whatever happens I can always fix it 3...If worst come to the worst(which I doubt) there are other fish in the sea You just have to take the rough with the smooth
Darth_Schmarth Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 So tell me, Mojo, are you by any chance the the-glass-is-half-full type? ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum
Lyric Suite Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I feel I have had my fair share of bad luck over the times, so now it is only fair that some good should happen. Heh, i used to think that way once, but things only got worst. Good luck with your happy life, nonetheless...
Mojo Posted November 29, 2005 Author Posted November 29, 2005 So tell me, Mojo, are you by any chance the the-glass-is-half-full type? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No not at all... But in the last 8 years I have nearly died 3 times, so when you experience something like that not one but three times you tend to look at lifes ups and downs and think "thats not so bad"
Darth_Schmarth Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Well that rocks, dude. ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum
Sarjahurmaaja. Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 What exactly is "nearly died", anyhow? 9/30 -- NEVER FORGET!
Darth_Schmarth Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Maybe he tripped over a branch and fell on a parked car, implying a car accident. ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum
Surreptishus Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I think he used to be a soldier in N.Ireland so my guess is that he was shot at more than a few times. Or maybe almost blown up.
kumquatq3 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 But in the last 8 years I have nearly died 3 times, so when you experience something like that not one but three times you tend to look at lifes ups and downs and think I nearly died on my motorcycle 1 1/2 times. I just tended to drink alot those nights. Think that says something about me?
