Kor Qel Droma Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Like I said, the drugs helped a lot. Alas I wish I could say the same thing about the Blair Witch Project. To this day I still can't understand what everyone was so freaked out about. Sticks crack in nature all the time. Get over it. As for creepy shows, I nod my cap to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The bit at the end where she thinks she makes it and then looks behind her as she drives away still haunts me. Now I have the creeping willies. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
jaguars4ever Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 The bit at the end where she thinks she makes it and then looks behind her as she drives away still haunts me. Now I have the creeping willies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hold that thought - now forward right to the end of Ring ( the bit where she comes out of the TV ). Sleep well. ^_^
Kor Qel Droma Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 the Grudge > the Ring Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Kor Qel Droma Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Both are remakes of japanese films, so...yes. Fear.Com. I'd blocked the memory of me paying money for that show. Cabin Fever>Fear.Com Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
jaguars4ever Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 (edited) Agreed. You really should see the original American Gothic, kor. A little dementia is good for the soul. Edited January 30, 2006 by jaguars4ever
Kor Qel Droma Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 IMDB isn't ringing any bells other than the TV series that was great but didn't last too long. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
jaguars4ever Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 IMDB isn't ringing any bells other than the TV series that was great but didn't last too long. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That one, silly.
Kor Qel Droma Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Well of course i saw and read that one, but it didn't ring..any...bells. I just spend the last three minutes of my life remembering this show Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Fionavar Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Dark Water ... OK - definitely not original ... The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
Musopticon? Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I saw Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning, a few days ago. Hilarious. Lancer Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I saw Spiderman 2 over the christmas break. I thought that was the best superhero movie ever made. And, yeah, Batman Begins was a tad overrated. It lacked soul. Lancer
LadyCrimson Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Grizzly Man Nature footage: 10/10 Biographical story-telling: 7/10 Debate-inducing factor: 9/10 ------------- Overall score: 8.6/10 “Things are as they are. Baley Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 (edited) No Werner Herzog factor? Poser. I watched They Live. LadyCrimson Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 No Werner Herzog factor? Poser. Heh..I'd never heard of him before...I don't usually pay attention to director names. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
LadyCrimson Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Serenity. As I think someone else already said, it didn't suck. Never liked the series at all...the movie's ok tho. “Things are as they are. Kor Qel Droma Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Fred Ward is kewl. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Gabrielle Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Serenity. As I think someone else already said, it didn't suck. Never liked the series at all...the movie's ok tho. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The movie was great. I never seen the tv series before, I never heard of Firefly, I think the show was called?
LadyCrimson Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Yeah, Firefly. Saw Lord of War. Depressing, too much narration, nice production value, felt like there was no plot. Charcater story/morality play. Plus, it's not an action picture at all, the DVD box makes you think so... 5/10 “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Gfted1 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Watched The Fog remake. Seems I just cant stop picking crap movies lately. I couldnt follow/understand why the Fog had chosen to come back and go on a rampage. Was it because the statue was created or because the boat anchor tore open that bag allowing the personal posessions to wash up on shore? Or neither? WITHTEETH Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Run Lola Run, It turned out to be awesome! It was simlar to Ground Hogs Day starring Bill Murray but with a techno German style. With themes of the will to power, Chaos, and absurdism i felt. Very deep movie, i reccomend renting it ASAP. Always outnumbered, never out gunned! LadyCrimson Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I still don't understand why the original Fog is considered such a classic. “Things are as they are. Fionavar Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Dark Waters. Not bad, but the choice of ending was less than an riveting. The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
