Deraldin
So tonight there is another horribly bad movie on TV called Catagory 7: The End of the World about some massive hurricane that is supposed to destroy the world or something. Sounds worse than The Core. Anyway, apparently the movie has been delayed for some reason. Coincidentally, we've been getting about 3/4 hurricane force winds today. Coincidence? I think not!
Oerwinde
The Core was awesome. That the writer's website has a link to mine has nothing to do with that opinion either. Edited November 7, 2005 by Oerwinde The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.

Heck, even the posters made it look like an Armageddon ripoff, but the movie itself had much better characters and such. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity. Diamond
All Endoftheworld movies tend to be somewhat... unenjoyable, when you start to think about the details. Even if entertainment value is high, I can't block my eyes and ears to facts that are just wrong. Day After Tomorrow is the worst
taks
they actually tend to be elitist hollywood rants about what's coming to the earth should humanity not change its evil, gaia hating ways. this one stars the brother of my favorite "i'm not a scientist but i played one on tv," randy quaid (dennis is famous in my book for saying - paraphrased - "i have a farm in montana, and i can tell you, global warming is real!")... of course, the drought is over now, so i wonder what he chalked that up to, global warming too? taks comrade taks... just because. Diamond
There is one thing that is worse. A concept of a "computer goes crazy and blows stuff up" "It is rewiring him." "The war shouldn't become some kind of video game." "It is aware of itself ". Irritating. <_<
SteveThaiBinh
Sounds worse than The Core. As if anything could be. This kind of thing happens all the time - they take disaster movies off just after there's been a disaster, although it doesn't seem to affect the minor channels that no-one watches. If they don't take it off, people complain that it's in poor taste, but if they do take it off, others complain that the TV companies aren't treating the audience like grown-ups. Diamond
This kind of thing happens all the time - they take disaster movies off just after there's been a disaster. In Russia an episode of Simpsons with Twin Towers was shown the day after they collapsed. I wonder what the consequences of that would be if that happened in US. It was just delayed for an hour or so. Interestingly enough, that was about the time the wind stopped.

WILL THE ALMIGHTY
before I make this comment, know that there are good american movies (like Star Wars or Bruce the almighty (I wonder were I got my name)). I notice some movies like XXX state of the union cost millions but still get poor ratings (like, say, 1/5) while in Quebec all the movies cost a lot less but get a way better rating. ex: Crazy: 4/5 Dans une Galaxie pres de chez vous: 3/5 Camping sauvage: 3and a half/5 and spiderman 2 cost nealy billions (or more) but got 4/5 while for for 1 to 3 million got enough to make a 3/5 movie. heh-hem. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

It cost 200 million. And it more than made that back. Also, Bruce Allmighty wasn't actually a good movie. Oerwinde
I liked Day After Tomorrow That's why such pseudoscientific crap keeps coming <{POST_SNAPBACK}> After the movie came out some media news thing went to some weather specialists and asked if that could happen. They said yes, but not so fast that you have to try to outrun the storm. It would take more like a couple decades, or centuries.
