The topic came up on another message board and I was curious to see how many other people can't sit still for an entire movie."

It's not that hard as long as the phone doesn't ring and the door doesn't knock. If the movie sucks, however...

what do you think , Lord Jaguar?

I meant lord, because you're not a lorg

Well, after whatching several Andrei Tarkovsky films (alone, everybody i know hates this director) i think there isn't a film i couldn't sit through in it's entirety.

I've seen a few Tarkovski movies. Stalker wasn't too bad and Ivan's Childhood was kind of neat. But it takes some getting used to, learning how to watch those classic russian movies.

He is not an easy director to get into, to be sure.

So far i've seen Andrei Rublev, Solaris and Stalker, and i think my only gripe with those films is in the translation. The dialog just seems so hackward at times but many russian speaking fans tend to vouch it's absolutly terrific in it's original format.

I know that Imgar Bergman considered Tarkovski his superior, so he can't be that bad...

Why would anyone not be able to sit through a movie? barring any external interruptions, it is not even remotely difficult to sit watching something you enjoy.

I'm guessing 2 people have attention problems.

BTW i like Darque's new avatar, the old one seemed a tad butch

I can watch two, even three movies without stopping. So one isn't a problem.

I watched the entire The Lord of the Rings series (Extended Editions) with my friends in one sitting little more than a week ago, so one movie won't be a problem.

I have to watch two to three movies at the same time on seperate televisions, you know, incase one movie starts to bore me.

I watched the entire Star Wars series in one sitting, but I had all of them playing at the same time.
