Child of Flame Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 That song will be played at my memorial service if my wishes are respected. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A longtime friend and coworker have a similar pact. When one or the other of us check out eventually we both know what songs have to be played at our funerals. His song is 'silent lucidity' by Queensryche. Right now I'm listening to 'Because The Night' by Bruce Springsteen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd almost lean toward Nihil by Tiamat, but Fade to Black is more event appropriate. Also, assuming I'm married when I buy the farm, it'd prob'ly be kind of disrespectful to my wife. With a little beauty in my bed, I still wish that I was dead. You know.
Child of Flame Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Also, last post was Tales of a Scorched Earth, now it's Thru the Eyes of Ruby, both by the Pumpkins. I'd edit but that little 'edited by' text really bugs me.
Kor Qel Droma Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I'd add a ZING!! If I'd actually heard the song, but can't say that I have. The Dandy Warhols / Bohemian Like You Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Child of Flame Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 It's worth P2Ping even if only to get a taste for their music. I won't tell.
Nartwak Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Baba Yetu - Christopher Tin I hate that damn edit tag too. Grr...

Kor Qel Droma Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Right now I'm listening to a song called 'Thirteen' by Big Star. It's about being, um, thirteen... And work was made a little more tolerable today for at least three minutes when Crowded Houses' " don't dream its over" played this afternoon. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
