To what music are you listening right now?

You sure know how to pick 'em, Kor.

I totally agree with you, Drabs!!! I say the same thing to myself, sometimes, but usually it's referring to my taste in women.

Anyhoo, right now I'm listening to 'Joey' by Concrete Blonde.

There Is No If... - The Cure

I used to dismiss The Cure as chronically depressed goth poets, but that was before I actually listened to their music. I found out I do enjoy it, in moderation. I mean, how can you deny "Lovesong," "Close to Me" or "Cut Here."

And that's not even mentioning "The Lovecats," which is fantastic.

And don't forget 'Just Like Heaven'. An ex turned me on to that song a few years ago, and I sung it to her on her answering machine, not knowing she would use it as her greeting for anyone that called her. Damn Sagitarrians.

Haha, I knew a girl who sang that No Doubt song "Spiderwebs" on her answering machine. It was terrible.

Goldfinger (skater-friendly-pop-punk before skater-friendly pop-punk was cool) did a nice cover of "Just Like Heaven." I saw them live a handful of times back in the day. Lotta fun.

The Knife - Behind The Bushes

Reminds me of the soundtrack to The Godfather. Gives me the same feeling of hopelessness. Think of an army of soldiers marching to the battlefield, heads low, knowing they won't return.

Beautiful.

One of the first "riffs" I learned on guitar back in the day. Coincidentially, Type O Negative played a much heavier version of this riff on their version.

What's this supposed to be? Something which I unwrapped from a gift parcel. I've never heard of them, but the music is pop, bordering on cheap electronica.
