Ok, i need an opinion, do you like Jedi-Dark Jedi Robes or battle suits?

example: Exar Kun's Light Battle Suit

hi.

So by battle suits you mean all tipes of armour....

I'll go with them...

I've always liked them better...

Tho I wear robes on the streets so I can use force speed

I prefer the robes. But I did spend a considerable amount of time in that Zeison Shay armor that didn't restrict your force powers. Sorry for the spelling...

Jaguars4ever is still alive.  No word of a lie.

If there was a suit that was a mix of armor AND robes, I'd prefer that. Like a heavy body armor specially designed for Force use.

Like Darth Bandon's armor, no?

Armor, Mandalorian Assault Armor is my favorite i like to upgrade it a lot with some defense bonus components it can be quite useful

I do prefer pure robes.

They sometimes provided more bonuses that I needed than armour did. (Depended on how good the robes were. I used the Ossus Keeper robes a lot.)

I found that I preferred wearing armour in KOTOR1 but robes in KOTOR2... not sure why...

Maybe because the K1 robes looked horrible?"

Or maybe because they weren't quite that good....

Anyway my favorite robes in either game have too be the Starforge ones :ermm:

I prefer robes for Jedi characters, of course. Aside from the Force Power issues, Jedi just don't wear armour - it's a roleplaying thing perhaps. Besides, they're powerful enough already without being invulnerable as well.

I think you're right Baley... the KOTOR1 robes weren't particularly flattering for any character apart from Bastila...

I get what you mean about Jedi not wearing armour Steve, its just I never felt that my PC in KOTOR1 was a proper Jedi due to the rushed training etc... my PC always started in armour and so finished in armour... things were a little different in KOTOR2 though

do you guys get that network in Norwich?that was probably the only time i tuned in for cartoonnetwork and is probably my last.

I like the sound of those robes, tell me, random loot or fixed location for finding these? :D

Ive got to say I wore mostly the robes in K2, because the armor restricts force powers, but in K1 i had to wear the armor all the time, i hated the robes there, they had no cape-type backs to them.

Apart from Bastilas :( , the robes were disappointing in K!.

The armor looks crappy. I always equip the robes, even at the cost of losing out on various bonuses just for aesthetical reasons.

yeah your right i wish they hadn't changed the mando assault armor and just left it like with the helmet in K1, i would have loved it more.

They're really easy to find. They aren't robes, they're armour that doesn't restrict use of force powers, really useful early on if you can't find robes yet. I always wear robes for the same reason as GhostofAnakin.

The robes make female PCs look fat.

Armor is restrictive and the Jedi wouldn't be able to do their acrobatic fighting in something that is weighing them down or stricts their movement. Robes baby!

I prefer the Jal Shey type stuff.

I prefer robes. My favorite force powers are all armor restricted. >.<

I like the look of the robes but its usually the armor that has the cool name and stats

Robes, especially since you can get such insanely high dexterity bonuses in K2.

True, they do, but padawan robes don't. They make you look skinny.
