Weaponmaster303 Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 When playing k1 and k2 I keep wondering what the age of the characters is not the obvious ones but more of the exile,atris,revan, and bastila. I mean I keep hearing 2 young jedi knights revan and malik and so i believed revan would be around his mid 20s right cuz it be kinda nasty for an old geezer to romance bastila. What about the exile though late thirties or what any opinions.

mrchallenge Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I think Revan was about 30 in KOTOR 1. Which means he was 23 when he started fighting in the Mandalorian wars. I think Exile is perhaps a couple of years younger than Revan. He was a very young jedi when he went off to war (In fact, I don't even know if he had reached the rank of Knight yet.).

Cassidy Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 If Revan was so young at the mandolorian wars(20ish) how could he have an apprentice? Malak was Revan's apprentice afterall. Malak would have to be 10...... But then in the tomb on Korriban Malak was clearly an adult and that was just before he and Revan had joined in the wars. Revan has to be at least 30 when he joined the wars IMO.

I remember that on a KotOR splash loading screen, it said something about Revan being stronger of the two, and Malak reluctantly assuming the role of apprentice. This sounds more like, they started off as friends about the same age, and once they took on the ways of the sith, one of them had to be the master and the other had to be the apprentice, and the master would be the stronger one, which would be Revan.

I think those ages are way to young for Revan. He was already an established, reputed, and respected knight when he fought in the mando wars. Probably almost a master.
Weaponmaster303 Posted June 22, 2005 Author Posted June 22, 2005 Going by the k1 timeline yes they are true,its not hard to believe hes a respected knight by that age look at anaking hes already a war hero and on the council as a knight so no hes not really old about 25-28 ADD ON:He wasnt even close to being a master yet he was still being trained by master kae before she left for the wars so there goes the whole master thing.He was at the same training as bastila meaning same age while the exile was already a master a hero to atris all she wanted to be.

It really strecthes the imagination to think that he/she was in his/her early 20's during the Mandalorian Wars. Nobody becomes a General in his/her 20's in real life or in Star Wars. So he/she must have been in his/her 30's (at least) during the Mandalorian Wars. Thus he/she should be in his/her 40's in KOTOR2. Also, Mira told my male Exile he was too old for her. If she is in her mid 20's, "too old" would have meant 40 something. What I cannot accept is my female Exile seems to be a nubile young woman in her early 20's. But I don't complain much especially when she wears the Dancer's Outfit.

Nobody is going to be 30 and still be a padawan unless you are a really bad jedi which revan wasnt.Revan was young when he went to war look at the kotor site and look what it says about malak he was a young headstrong jedi who went to war during the mandalorian wars.
