I'm just trying to understand what happened. Somehow I messed up, and didn't find out who Atton really is and find out his big secret. Is he Carth, and does he die in KOTOR 2. (Xbox version, male, DS- but kinda gray)

Also, when I first went through the ending I did not ask to see the future of my allies and went the darkest route possible, but it gave me the lightside ending. Is this because I was in the middle, my character was grayish?

Finally, let me clear up on all the characters.

Mandalore= Canderous

Handmaiden= do we ever know if she gets to become a jedi?

Atton= I really need to know the deal with him

If anybody could clear this stuff up, that would be GREATLY appreciated.

You need to gain influence with the characters to find out their stories.

Yes, all the characters can become Jedi.

No, Atton is not Carth (but he can appear in the game if Revan was female LS).

No Atton is not Carth depending on how you answer his questions Carth shows up in a cameo role.

Probably

Whether or not the handmaiden becomes a Jedi is upto you. Your the one who trains her.

Attons "secret" is he worked for the Sith as a Jedi hunter. You can train him as a Jedi too, if you want too.

I have to agree with Volourn.  Bioware is pretty much dead now.  Deals like this kills development studios.

Wow. Can they become Jedi in the actual game, or just when Kreia tells the future? Also, do any of them die on Malachor other then Kreia.

Yes, they can become Jedi in the game. (Not just in the predictions Kreia gives at the end.) You have to gain lots of influence with each one to do it...

As for the second question, I'll let you find out.

You can train all you companions except for the droids, hanhaar, and the ones that are already jedi. I'm too tired to explain how to do each one as I have done this countless times before. Maybe someone else will come along who doesn't mind repeating themselves for the umpteenth time.

One more question, when do you find out the Exile is going to search for Revan? I never saw that happen in the game.

I guess I really need to watch Kreia's tellings of the future.

Yes that will clear everything up and answer all your questions. But you don't find out about Exile searching for Revan until after you beat the last boss.

.... and figure out how to use the Search function.

But I did beat the last boss... Did I not find out about this because I got the light side ending?

Did you ask Kreia about the future? Did you read all the dialogue?

No, Kreia will tell you your future whether you are light side or dark side.

You're right. (w00t) How could I forget Mandalore?!?!?! That just goes to show you how tired I was. But I covered Kreia and Visas, they are already Jedi.

Ok, a quick rundown of how to train your helpers.

Atton: Get influence with him by having him around and saying nice things to him. He doesn't care if you're mean to other people. When yo get to Nar-Shadaa walk around the refugee area and a couple of twi'lek guys will walk up behind you and start talking about Atton. Talk to them and they will let you know that Atton has a history he wishes to keep hidden from you. Talk to Atton about it and if you have enough influence with him you will be able to train him.

Bao-Dur: You have to keep him with you a lot and be LS, or be DS and willing to do good things while he's with you. Either way, when yo do something nice for someone while he is present you will most likely gain influence with him. Each time you gain influence with him, talk to him and you will get a little more out of him. After about 4 or 5 times you will be able to train him.

Mira: For Mira you can get most of the influence with her still on the ship. Just talk to her and say nice things to her. After you have gained enough influence with her you have to take her back to Nar-Shadaa to the place where Kreia taught you about the force, that's where you teach Mira.

Handmaiden: Talk to her, train with her, and be nice around her. Don't kill anyone in cold blood and don' try to avoid fights either. Eventually you will get enough influence to make her break her oath to Atris and become a Jedi.

Desciple: I've only played female twice so I may be wrong on him. But I believe you have to be nice to other people while he is around, be nice to him, and you must at least appear to have a general interest in the Jedi histories. After that you will learn his past and ca ntrain him.

I think that's everyone. Enjoy.

That's awesome. If I were a person that likes going back and playing games again I most certainly would to train those guys to be Jedi's.

I really wanted to make handmaiden a jedi, but I never got a chance.

Anyways, thanks for the tips.

Also, what happens when your actually training them? Is it through dialogue or does something else happen...How much can you teach them? Is the exile as good a teacher as Kreia.

I noticed that nobody answered your question on death. And here is a long story...

Once upon a time, there was a company named Obsidian who had the courage to take up the responsibilities to assume the hold Knights of the Old Republic from the wise Bioware. Unfortuantly, their masters, Lucasarts, rushed them during the creation of their game. A few portions were cut and many fans were disapointed. Pointing fingers at both Obsidian and Lucasarts. Poor Obsidian, attempted to fix this but Lucasarts was filled with greed and refused to allow them to create a patch that will add the portions. But then a team came up and restored the ending. (they are still working on it...) But for the question, the only ones who CAN die on Malachor V WITH cut-endings, are Atton, Handmaiden, GO-TO and Kreia. Atton has 2 death sequences, one where he fights the Disciple and another when he fights Sion. It depends on your infulence with that character and others. There is a way for him not to die though. Handmaiden only dies if you had more influence with Visa (in which they fight) and GO-TO deactivates from the orders of HK-47.

NOT SO LONG AGO, IN A GALAXY RELATIVELY CLOSE

Modder Wars

Episode 4: A New Hope

The ending of TSL lies in ruins. As the evil LUCAS ARTS turns its back on the dying game, it destroys any hope of TSL's redemption...or so it thought.

But from the masses of pissed off fans rose a small group of rebels, led by the brave and noble AURORA, to save the game in it's darkest hour. Now, with the patch nearing completion (I wish) there is hope of the game reaching it's full potential, and at last, a chance for peace in the gaming community...

Edit: ^I can't get the yellow to show... ;)

You can get enough influence with the Disciple by talking to him on the Ebon Hawk. All you have to do is be really nice to him and tell him that the Republic must be saved and blah blah....
