Seriously, SS can easily make a a D&D style game if they chose to. It's really not hard to do. If a a bunch of doctors can make a D&D game then I'm sure veterans of the RPG genre can handle it as well.

d00d, I'm reading the entire archive of Schlock Mercenary while I'm doing this, don't criticize me for lack of speed. I've gotta go catch the bus into town in a little bit though, so I'll be dropping out.

Correct me if I'm wrong (but I don't think I am), but BG3 isn't Bioware's call. It's an Atari/ WotC call.

 

Granted, it would make sense to give it to Bioware but Atari and WotC aren't often guided by normal, rational decision-making processes.

I briefly questioned a Bioware developer trough a PM, and the person stated that Baldur's Gate 3 was pretty much out of their hands. I don't think the person was lying, but the situation could change.

 

I don't want to reveal the person's name as I'm not sure if it was meant to be classified information or not. I doubt I'd be getting TEH SEKRIT SKOOP!! from Bioware, or from the person I talked to, but still.
