Darth Flatus Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 It looks like a live action Transformers movie is finally gonna happen. Hah! Exar Kun will never escape from the obscure poo that is "Tales of teh Jee-dai".
Nur Ab Sal Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Thanks to this "poo" you have KOTOR you %#^#& HERMOCRATES: Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned. SOCRATES: This I doubt. We are hearing a child's tale.
Darth Flatus Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Why do you seem to take negative comments about TotJ so personally? Did you write it? Do you own the rights to it? Or were you the only person ever to have bought the comic? Come on.. lighten up - its not like you're a Christian/Jew/Muslim and i am crticising the Bible/Torah/Koran.

Other than that, he's semi-kinda-sorta-maybe resonable. :D "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Darth Flatus Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Cheers for the info Goa. I guess ppl can be so over sensitive sometimes <_<
Kor Qel Droma Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 And don't slag Exar Kun.... Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
213374U Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Thanks to this "poo" you have KOTOR you %#^#& No, not really. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
Kaftan Barlast Posted April 4, 2005 Author Posted April 4, 2005 The only thing KoTOR has in common with TotJ is the names. It could be set anywhere from 4000 to 100 BSW4 and it would make no differance. 213374U Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 The only thing KoTOR has in common with TotJ is the names. Fortunately. ) - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
Nur Ab Sal Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Well if Mike Gallo wouldn't be fascinated in TOTJ he would never approach anyone with the idea of such game. Bioware would made jade empire earlier and LA would just publish another part of jedi knight or whatever. Don't let your transformer pride mislead you HERMOCRATES: Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned. SOCRATES: This I doubt. 213374U Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 A Single-player SW CRPG was unavoidable. There were SW games of every genre except RPG. Perhaps it wouldn't have been called KotOR, but the idea would be the same. Don't let your TotJ pride mislead you. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
GhostofAnakin Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Yeah, I'm thinking that at most, TotJ gave them the idea for what setting to place the game in. But considering the fact that the design of many of the vehicles and planets look different than the TotJ designs, I'd say they had their own vision of what they wanted and just used the title "KOTOR". "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Nur Ab Sal Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 LA is known for many things but not for logic so maybe yes maybe no. As for now KOTOR draws inspiration from TOTJ and band of pathetic tranformer fans cannot change that in any way. It is just a continution of events from Redemption. Read chronicles of the old republic written by Gallo. HERMOCRATES: Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned. SOCRATES: This I doubt. Darth Flatus Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 In the first kotor from the look and feel of it one would be mistaken for thinking it was set in the time of yoda and co. It only references TotJ when it tries to explain the waffly backstory but seriously what is the deal with you and TotJ?

Kaftan Barlast Posted April 4, 2005 Author Posted April 4, 2005 I wish Obsidian would do a Transformers RPG DISCLAIMER: Do not take what I write seriously unless it is clearly and in no uncertain terms, declared by me to be meant in a serious and non-humoristic manner.
