dread_111
Hello folks, I'd just liked to ask if I got something wrong, or if it was simply a bug: I think it was at about 2/3 of the game, there was a cutscene where G0T0 went to the engine room of the Ebon Hawk and just killed the little cute remote (Bao-Dur's pet). I was so mad at him after that, but afterwards I walked around and saw that the remote was still alive and flying around happily...so whats all that about?I mean, that can't be just something the programmers overlooked due to the rushing release date or whatever... Anyway, I think the game is great if you look past the bugs and broken plots, and the cheap ending of course... Greetz!

Mellypie
He didn't destory the remote he just reprogramed it. If you notice it doesn't blow up it just falls to the ground. "They might not call you a Jedi anymore, but believe me, you are. It's not the sort of thing that you just stop being. You're stuck with it, just like you're stuck being the General." ~Bao-Dur, Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords
Aurora
I recall the animation looking a lot like the remote exploded. When I rushed in to kill G0-T0 for hurting the precious widdle remote and saw it happily bobbing around, I figured that he "just" altered its programming, but it didn't look like it. Dust
Eh? I never saw anything like that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spoiler: On Malachor V, when GOTO confronts the remote after you power up the Mass Shadow generator he says that he modified the remote's programming and that they're going to wait and see what the Exile decides first. Of course, we never get to see this conflict resolved. *shrug*

dread_111
That totally cracked me up. It's just like saying, "Well you know, the Titanic was great if you can just look past the iceberg." Yea I know it's really ironically in fact, and if I hadn't had so much respect of KOTOR 1, I wouldn't write something like that. But I really mean it although I know its quite absurd Greetz
