Drakoth Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 I went through the effort of spending two force powers on affect mind and dominate mind.. but no one i ever talk to has ANY force persuade options.. Did i waste my force picks? am i gimped to all hell?
Drakoth Posted December 8, 2004 Author Posted December 8, 2004 oh and if anyone could give me a reply soon, id appreciate it. need to know if i should restart my character =)
ampulator00 Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Well, you need: A) A good amount invested in Persuade skill B) Have good charisma (CHA) I haven't played the game yet, but it should apply like it did in KOTOR I. You probably made the mistake I did; put some abilities in force persuade, but forgetting to put points into persuade and Charisma. :D
Boiler98 Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 As ampulator00 said (and indeed, the same as KotOR 1), you need Persuation and Charisma. The skills alone do not give you the ability to minipulate the masses to your whim.
VIctory6 Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 I haven't had many chances to force persuade. The ones I have had either failed or were darkside options.
ryan12177 Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 You don't use it on Korriban and you barely use it on Dantooine, its pretty much a wasted power compared to its use in the first one from what I can tell of the games early going.
Siorfin Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Force persuade option should be present anytime you have a regular persuade option.
Boiler98 Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 It is not available everytime you have a regular persuade option. It becomes more frequent as the game goes on, but there is no rule as to when it should be there.
