Have you seen the thread about the guy over at the IGN boards who has the game? He said it. He's playing a jedi guardian though so whether the other classes get it is unknown. But I would think they would. Also, he said he got a feat called Unarmed Specialist at 6th lvl. So it seems guardians are supposed to be all around combat specialists this time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you start off with implant feats in KotOR 1 if you were a soldier?

Either way the fact that you can start this game off with implants shouldn't come as a big shock.

Its not so much a shock as an added bonus. If you chose soldier or scoundrel in K1, you had to use feats to gain access to implants. If you didnt there was equipment you could never use. If the feats are given to you for free in this game that would be great.

Hmm, I gotta disagree with you there. I don't like "Free Feats". I like working my way up and earning feats by leveling up. Makes the game more challenging, and more gratifying imo.

To each his/her own.

But making some things like implants sort of exclusive isn't cool. I don't mind having to work for it though.

Not too mention the fact that we will have more levels that we will be able to get all the implant feats this time around.... hopefully anyway. Myself I am in favour of getting certain feats for free, I don't think we should get a lot of feats for free but one or two for each class would be cool.

I don't mind that idea, I suppose. I like you, just don't want to get things too easily. I like a challenge and furthermore you didn't need all the feats in K1 because you were overpowered in the latter half on the game.

I wonder what feats will be given to us this time? I am hopping that its feats that might not have been used in KOTOR (either because they didn't exist or there was no point to them) or atleast some that weren't used that much. The main reason for this is because as you said above we did become atleast a little over powered towards the end of the game the other way.

Some things should not depend on a level progression to obtain. For example, whether or not you have a microchip surgically implanted in your head has little to do with how good you are with a lightsaber.
