mastaGAW Posted November 27, 2004 Author Posted November 27, 2004 I always wondered what it truly meant since it had about 8 different meanings.
GarethCarrots Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 after the third time i heard it i didnt wonder anymore, instead i spent the next five minutes frothing at the mouth scaring the tv screen. but my point was i heard it enough that i was obvious there were plenty of aliens in kotor

mastaGAW Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 The only planet that really showed aliens holding thier own and being a force in the galactic enviroment was Maanan, and even that had a flaw in the fact that on a planet where Selkath areupposed to be a majority there are still many humans. Its supposed to be important in galactic polotics and tourists attractions so why is it that the human non-native, non-human races on the entire planet are one Iridorian, two Rodians, and a twilek. This planet also gives the best example of everybody in the Republic and Sith being human. Out of all the soldiers from both opposing factions none were any alien species. Making it feel not as important to the whole galactic community as it really was. On second thought there was one twilek Sith that was an extra loading Kolto.

Fortune favors the bald.
mastaGAW Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 What I've been wondering though is why there are no non-human Republic Soldiers.
Rosbjerg Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 What I've been wondering though is why there are no non-human Republic Soldiers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> probably because Bioware thought it would be too timeconsuming to have alot of races and models for Republic soldiers! Fortune favors the bald.
mastaGAW Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 I'm still waiting for a dev to answer so I can know if Obsidian did the same thing.
DSLuke Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Because the aliesn haev better things to do than being rebuplic soldiers who get their asses kicked by the Sith.. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
CoM_Solaufein Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Hey I want to be a Yoda creature as a Jedi. Kick ass and move fast just like in the 2nd movie. SmkJaguar Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 probably because Bioware thought it would be too timeconsuming to have alot of races and models for Republic soldiers! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think I've ever seen an alien Republic soldier. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing any alien Republic officials (really high ranking ones anyways).
mastaGAW Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 Yes it seems as if the Republic is more racist than the Sith.
Barzarel Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Bingo. Give the man a cigar. If the Sith in KOTOR were anti-alien, they might've informed Yuthura Ban of that before she became second-in-command of the Sith academy. It's just another example of KOTOR contradicting itself at various times. Perhaps the Sith are anti-alien, but I think if they found an alien, who was strong in the force (ala Yuthara Ban) then I think that they would make an exception. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You dident even get any action with the hottie, dang i was dissappointed thought the persuade option lead you to some yummy passion... But she wasent partically strong i handed both their asses even when they werent poisoned... like were it some cheap display of power.
mastaGAW Posted November 29, 2004 Author Posted November 29, 2004 I also beat them both up like that and Korriban was only my second planet. Afew devs are roaming answer d*mnit.
