November 5, 200421 yr Oh, yeah I see that. My guilt overshadowed your words. As to a chat box; I think it's hard to enforce moderation, and that physically monitoring it would tie up an overproportionate amount of time. So... nay.
November 5, 200421 yr Author There are programs for moitoring and moderating fora costs a lot of time too, while chatting has a couple of advantages over using a forum, especially considiering how fast topics are disposed of

Unless theres some that exist I have never see, your ability to 'administer' them is quite limited. The ones I have used and seen allows little editing of the content and most dont have built in filters. Thus if someone says something naughty unless you want to hack the database the chat data is stored the only want to remove it is to fill the box with text until the offending text scrolls away.
