Actually, that's one of the few fields where the USA beat Sweden: the BNP per capita is much higher in the US than in Sweden.

You know, low crime rates, good health care and a culturally diverse society goes a long way.

Ps. USA is part of the UN..

Coming in anywhere in the top ten means it's a damn good country to live in.

But you can always brag a little more if you're number two..

Any top ten list that seriously expects me to think that Belgium is worth living in has to be highly dubious.

Well, MC, the do have good waffles...

I think that's it, though.

What's wrong with Belgium? Except for that pedophile-gang, of course..

I know that Belgium has the most comic book artists in the world (per capita) though! :) Can't be all bad.

It takes more than a tasty breakfast snack to persuade me to move country, my friend.

Oh, I agree, but you know those UN folk. Food, bribes, they seem to go hand-in-hand. :)

You know, after examining that list again, I'm rather surprised that the UK isn't listed. As I understand it, the UK has a high standard of living. Anyone know what's up?

Ireland??? <_<

"The fact that we're number 8 just tells me the list is broken."

I don't think people in Norway or Canada r in threat of getting drafted...

Not to mention we have more homicide/murder here then any civil country times 10. lol. I dunno maybe 8 is about right.

True; but at least in the US, you don't have to worry about being hit by an iceberg when you walk down the street.

Right, there are no beautiful women in America...

Oh, there are plenty (I'm married to one, so I know). It's just that some people seem to associate beauty with Nordic blondes.

There r tons of beautiful women here tho. Not all Americans r fat. lol. Funny to see stereotypes thought about America. In fact IMO there r some of the most beautiful womenin the world here IMO because there is such a diversity in all types of human here on Earth in America. The great mixing pot. Esspecially the Pacific coast.
