jaguars4ever Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 You are the Steve Vai of fantasy art " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A bit harsh there, my friend.
Oerwinde Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Mind esplaining? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From a quick google search he appears to be a talented guitarist who happens to look like a complete jackass. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Weiser_Cain Posted February 6, 2005 Author Posted February 6, 2005 I googled it too, and came to the same conclusion... Thus the question. Purple pants and pink shash? Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Laozi Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 We'll just say you're flashy People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
jaguars4ever Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 We'll just say you're flashy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...like a Lamborghini - all show and no go. "
Musopticon? Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Lame. Ok, but lame. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
Weiser_Cain Posted February 6, 2005 Author Posted February 6, 2005 Careful poeple I do have an ego to maintain. How about you explain why you say what you say? Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Oerwinde Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Magical armor for a geomancer. Very work in progress. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok, critique here. The face, excellent. Anatomy needs a little work though. The shoulders are a tad too broad, his upper-arm should be about the same length as his lower arm, and his fingers are way too stubby. Other than that, pretty good. Good 3rd Edition-esque style. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Weiser_Cain Posted February 8, 2005 Author Posted February 8, 2005 Yeah this was a doodle that got out of control really. His hands are based off my stubby hands but maybe a tad too short. Chest is too big by choice, you wont notice once I add the wings and horns or whatever I end up gettting from the geomancer drift. Expect another drawing when I get around to it. Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Weiser_Cain Posted March 7, 2005 Author Posted March 7, 2005 Main server is down here's a new costume design for Heather from Vampire Bloodlines... Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Kaftan Barlast Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 You are the Steve Vai of fantasy art " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, more like the Tom DeLonge DISCLAIMER: Do not take what I write seriously unless it is clearly and in no uncertain terms, declared by me to be meant in a serious and non-humoristic manner. Lady Alenuska Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 You've an interesting style.. some I like better then other's however I find alot of your art rather flat.... a bit of shadeing and highlighting and folds would definetly enhance some of your pictures.. Also practice. As for the female you requested clothing for (or i think you did cannot recall ) I honestly would not have gone with a gown thats form fitting leaving little to the imagination opposed to pants... Just keep practiceing and keep experimenting....
Weiser_Cain Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 A fair critique. I actually don't try to make an interesting drawing as much as I try to get an idea down on paper. these are more character designs than artwork. I think I went with pants because they were supposed to be fighters despite having a body more suited for the bedroom. Between work, video games, girlfriends(or rather worrying about the lack thereof), and general goofing off I get all the practice I can. I'd be even less productive if I were doing finished pieces since it usually takes a few drafts to get it right. Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Weiser_Cain Posted April 16, 2005 Author Posted April 16, 2005 I'm a little dissatisfied with where I am now, I need to refocus on art, and I need to find someone other than myself to use as a model. Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Weiser_Cain Posted May 17, 2005 Author Posted May 17, 2005 New paper makes me draw groovy(that's what I keep telling myself)... Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Starbreeze Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 I like your style, and the way you draw faces. I love drawing faces myself , and I get some inspiration from this. Keep up the good work!
Weiser_Cain Posted May 18, 2005 Author Posted May 18, 2005 Thankyou. Reworking of the geomancer at a higher level and diffrent drift options, WIP of course. Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Weiser_Cain Posted June 14, 2005 Author Posted June 14, 2005 A colortest. I like the way the hair on her head turned out. Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
Starbreeze Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 That guy with horns looks inspired by Warcraft 3... Are you using any special program to colour them? ^_^
Weiser_Cain Posted June 14, 2005 Author Posted June 14, 2005 No and no unless you consider photoshop a special program. I also have deep paint since it's free but I haven't used it on any of these. Yaw devs, Yaw!!! (
