Whitemithrandir Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 I don't have a dvd drive either. So I'd prefer CD's. Word economics To express my vast wisdom I speak in haiku's.
Product of the Cosmos Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 I'm getting the, "DVD Version". It's called an X-Box lmao.. me too
ShinIchiro Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 DVD's tend to flaw more from what I've heard. Then again I haven't heard very much. And my KOTOR 1 CD is going all weird now. Almost every load screen it minimizes (at least on every cutscene). It's horrible.
EnderAndrew Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 DVD discs are more sensitive to scratches. DVD drives are manufactured to avoid scratches more. I know a lot of CD players the scratch discs horribly.

LostStraw Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Excuse me, but not everyone has DVD-ROM! Excuse me, but not everyone has a CD-ROM! Yes, that's right. We need to go back to floppies.
ged Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Excuse me, but not everyone has DVD-ROM! Excuse me, but not everyone has a CD-ROM! Yes, that's right. We need to go back to floppies. Wait I don’t have a floppy drive .... Okay, the game is going to be distributed on tapes.
JonIrenicus Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Life... is strength. That is not to be contested; it seems logical enough. You live; you affect your world
JohnDoe Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Excuse me, but not everyone has DVD-ROM! Excuse me, but not everyone has a CD-ROM! Yes, that's right. We need to go back to floppies. Wait I don’t have a floppy drive .... Okay, the game is going to be distributed on tapes. Don't have a tape drive. How about they send us about 2 billion pages of binary code which we type in ourselves?
mkreku Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Don't have a tape drive. How about they send us about 2 billion pages of binary code which we type in ourselves? Unfortunately I don't have a keyboard. How about someone telagraphs me the correct code I have to set my radio tubes in? Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Archmonarch Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Don't have a tape drive. How about they send us about 2 billion pages of binary code which we type in ourselves? Unfortunately I don't have a keyboard. How about someone telagraphs me the correct code I have to set my radio tubes in? This is getting ridiculous. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had

Unfortunately I don't have a keyboard. How about someone telagraphs me the correct code I have to set my radio tubes in? I don't have a computer. Someone will just to tell me the code and I'll calculate the game in my head from that. You think I can't do it? I'm transmitting this message using only the power of my mind....

Lumenadducere Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 Imageine how much stuff there would be if there were four DVDs full of stuff instead of four CDs full of stuff... *drools*
Morgan_Hearst Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 I don't care what format it comes on as long as it works. I don't have a DVD drive at the moment but I would buy one if KOTOR2 came out on DVD only. Hell, I'd buy an x-box if it was an x-box only game too.
starwarskid15_19 Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 how old is this thread? i remember it from a looooooooooong time ago the force is what gives a jedi his power. its an energy field created by all living things. it surrounds us and penetrates us. it binds the galaxy together
Whitemithrandir Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 Imageine how much stuff there would be if there were four DVDs full of stuff instead of four CDs full of stuff... *drools* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 7 hour long feature presentation of Feargus explaining the intricacies of coffee fetching. Word economics To express my vast wisdom I speak in haiku's.
Adria Teksuni Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 I'd watch that, I've always had difficulties with the finer points of coffee fetching. Honestly though, I don't see a quadruple DVD release...Although, it would rock. Oops, my PC just started crying... Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
