LadyCrimson Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) Full stealth/Assassin's outfit with 100%, check. Infra-vision googles, check. High level Stealth perk bonuses while crouched, check. Can't see me! Verrrry close even when facing you. If they're facing away from you, can kill them without them ever reacting. The other in the room doesn't even react when you kill the first one. I wonder if that outfit bonus will get nerfed back down to 99%. Even if not a Tier6 level, it's still fairly OP'd. But it's going to take most a long while to get there+high stealth Perk, plus it's slower clearing, plus it's not as invulnerable outside/en-masse, so. Seems fair to me. Makes stealth build my favorite thing tho. Edited August 23 by LadyCrimson 2 1 “Things are as they are. Hawke64 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Soulstice At that point, I forgot how to counter the berserk state. Story and boss spoilers. Spoiler The MC is good. The boss is not quite visible, but she's there (on the left). 2
Hawke64 Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Soulstice Some combat screenshots. Though, they were taken at the end of encounters. There were some environmental hazards and quite a few large/teleporting/summoning foes. I don't think that it could take more. End-game spoilers (gore). Spoiler Got the DMC version of DT. Can't say that I was particularly fond of the choice of the final antagonist - a person in constant pain, denied bodily autonomy. So it was rather hard to see the boss' actions as unreasonable in their situation. But, I guess, the other BBEG needed to stay alive for the sequel. 1 1

Hawke64 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 The Outer Worlds It would probably look nicer with better lighting, but still. I am happy to share that the cow and the human survived my visit. Also now one of the companions looks like a candy or a pride flag (the armour was possible to pickpocket without killing the hostile NPC). A different set, but the colour scheme the same as for the other Rizzo's set. The story acknowledges the level architecture. Somehow, Sanjar is one of the most likeable NPCs. Spoiler 1 1
Hawke64 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 That's a lot of particle effects. Also, the cat is very cute.

Hawke64 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 (edited) The Outer Worlds So at this point I decided what to do with Rockwell. Considering the increasing body count of the party (how many random guards and pirates, not to mention the wildlife, were dead because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time), the party could be quite desensitised to violence. And there were no negative consequences, mechanically or narratively, for it. Quite the opposite, in fact, - loot and XP. I like the environmental storytelling, though, I would like the companions to comment on it. That's a quite direct explanation of the just-world fallacy. He had some sense. Got a fancy hat. The ability to kill NPCs at will without loudly announcing it is greatly appreciated. Spoiler I can't say that any of the dialogue options was fitting - I was armed and armoured, while Rockwell explicitly and continuously expressed our difference in values and had nothing to offer. So, it was very convenient to be able to shoot him. I was trying to avoid harming the sprats. One somehow got into the elevator, so I reloaded. It would be great to be able to avoid accidental combat more easily and have more feedback for choosing not to murder random lizards. Edited August 31 by Hawke64 3 1

Hawke64 Posted September 7 Posted September 7 The Outer Worlds I expected to see a low-int option here. Though, landing on Cascadia is much faster than going through Roseway. I had just enough Stealth skill to pickpocket the armour. End-game spoilers Spoiler I think there was a similar option for non-low-int playthrough. Defeated RAM without hacking anything. Not recommended. I guess, the first option was correct as well. 1
Hawke64 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 (edited) Sekiro Went as expected. I am surprised that there was no option to kill him after he admitted to setting the MC's home and master on fire. It took some time, but the Chained Ogre was defeated. Ironic. The shield bearer was still alive at the end of the battle - the boss' sight and aggro range were much farther than the others'. And at this point I turned around and decided to go and meet a giant snake rather than this elderly lady. Edited September 9 by Hawke64 2 1
