Manveru123 Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Godlikes are not considered either a woman or a man because of their inability to procreate; this is not tied to culture, but to law. It's why Pallegina can be a part of the Frermas des Canc Suolias: Legally, she's not a woman. So is she sterile, or just not.. uhh.. equipped?
house2fly Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 All godlikes are sterile. She probably wouldn't want to elaborate on the other thing, but when she was a kid she did have a beak... 2
Dr. Hieronymous Alloy Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 (edited) There's also the issue that in Eora, there's clear, proven knowledge that souls aren't gendered and "you" can be female in one life and male in the next etc. Gender as a whole is just a more fluid concept in this setting. Tick Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 All godlikes are sterile. She probably wouldn't want to elaborate on the other thing, but when she was a kid she did have a beak... I think it was more that her beak was starting to Form. The chime story made it sound like her features were becoming more pronounced and cutting the chime stopped that. I might have misunderstood though.
InsaneCommander Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Which raises an interesting question: Is their charter worded so that only men are allowed to join or that no women may join? It would seem they forbid women. I wonder if Kyros, from Tyranny, could join. So is she sterile, or just not.. uhh.. equipped? And once again we return to Hiravias' question...
