The first of the three planned story DLC is scheduled to hit in late July, and the last one in November. July 1, 20187 yr I'm about 99% sure there will be a Pillars 3. How far off it is will depend on sales of Deadfire. After all, Pillars is the only IP Obsidian owns.

July 2, 20187 yr If Deadfire turns out to be a huge bust, there's every reason to believe they might change sub-genre (go from rtwp party based to action rpg) or do a soft reboot, but that's zero reason to give up on the IP.
