June 27, 20187 yr Has anyone seen this work? And how does it work? I just watched a youtube vid where some dude with high alchemy melted an entire screen with insect plague? Also i heard it works with the snakeskin grimoire. Whitch makes sense as i was wondering why they added that grimoire for seemingly nothing ( until I figured it scales with alchemy) What else does it scale with?
June 27, 20187 yr Author Yeah ive been researching it. Basicaly everyone who has tried it with insect plague has said dont do it because it is way too cheesy. Im thinking it is intentional though because the snakeskin grimoire would be completely pointless without the alchemy synergy. It has the snake weapon spell plus the only other wizard poison spells in it. Maybe they need to downtune it? Edited June 27, 20187 yr by no1fanboy
June 27, 20187 yr Alchemy skill was intended to increase the effects from consumable drugs, potions and poisons. But afaik it affects everything that has the poison keyword, at the moment. I think the fact that alchemy affects insect plague and alike spells is either oversight, or the scalling is too far off. June 28, 20187 yr Author This should be fixed in an upcoming patch. So it shouldn't affect raw damage DoTs? why would they be fixing it if its not broken?
