Sacred Immolation : Too much self-damage ?

It is not an affirmation, but more a question / a call for debate.

 

PILLARS 1

Foe AoE 20-30

Self-RAW damage : 5 (Total 50)

 

PILLARS 2

Foe AoE 20-30

Self-RAW damage : 43 (Total 172)

 

PILLARS 2 : TRUE NUMBER AT MAX MIGHT (CREATION...)

Foe AoE : 27-40

Self-RAW damage : 66 (Total 318)

 

My last Paladin created for fun have 233 HP at level 19 (Creation. Indeed I can have more health, but same than might...)

 

Question : It is not... too much ? : p

Yes it's too much. While there are options to be immortal ATM i doubt they are going to stay for long.

Yes with barring death door. I have think to that. Hum... Much to just make it viable. (Death door is so broken...)

 

Like you, I think a nerf of self damage is needed. Like 20. 5 of POE1 was perhaps too little, but now...

 

Here I don't even think with a crazy guy (like me) with 3 of constitution : p

At least in PoE the self damage was Raw.

You can lower it with the ring sold in Dunnage which reduces raw damage taken by 35%, however, imo, it is still too much.

Bummer. Didn't know it was raw. The way it is now is just too much then.
