LOL! I'm right there with ya. I felt a bit "neglected" at times and disequipped Carth and Atton's clothes just to see how the other half lives, lol. Especially in terms of the relationships, women got ripped off big time... I remember in KOTOR1 Bastila kisses male Revan, and yet Carth is told by Mission to "get a room" when he tells me "I love you"!!! I dunno, I guess the developers might be trying to hint that the women's relationships are deeper and go beyond physical contact, but dammit I want a makeout session too! ... or some Echani training with Atton.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH, oh my god, I involuntarily busted out laughing reading that... I never realized how often Carth said "Down you go!" til I saw that, and it all came flooding back... (w00t)

Yeah, I do agree it's an unfortunate thing... although I'm a female gamer and am playing a female Exile, and I am glad the exile doesn't fall under the stereotype. (plus I don't have the Handmaiden so I don't have to worry about any naked fighting :D ) What's so great about choosing what the exile says is that you get to determine her strengths and weaknesses, so she is by no means a stereotypical woman, and I love that about the game. To some degree, the male characters are also stereotyped and have their own weaknesses... although you'll never see them fight naked unless you force them to disrobe Disciple (from at least what little I've noted of him so far) seems like the loyal servant type, as does Bao-dur, and from what I gather Atton loves you pretty deeply and would die for you, so perhaps he's not so unlike Visas, just handled differently. Though he hides it (mostly) well, he's also a wreck with no real sense of self. Obviously the females still have more negative qualities in comparison, but just attempting to be a slight devil's advocate here. :">

i dont think its 4 times to max out influence.. theres alot of influence points for gain and loss for everyone.. on the Fixing the airspeeder.. did you say " let the expert handle this one"? cuz thats when you get influence with atton(obviously he must be in your party) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I chose that exact line, he says something like "expert, I like the sound of that," fixes it, and then I get EXP but nothing else. I also don't get how it's supposed to be possible to repeat that over and over since it doesn't give me the repair option again after that...

By "witty" I wonder if that means his joke lines, like the "I was supposed to be in Jedi Knight 2" introduction....

Ok, I know these might be more troubleshooting questions than anything else, but they contain spoilers, so I'll post it here... I am a mostly-LS female Exile in this scenario. I completed Telos (mostly) and have started on the other planets. I've been trying to max out Atton's influence, but I'm not very far into things (I've been going back and forth from Dantooine to Nar Shadaa, just picked up Disciple) and I haven't gotten any "Influence Gained" messages for Atton on several confirmed things: Fixing the speeder on nar shadaa Treating the sick man on nar shadaa persuading the "why so busy?" mechanic on dantooine The very last thing I DID remember getting influence on was when I lost influence with Kreia saying I cared about the welfare of my crew (after the thug encounter on nar shadda where you have the option of force persuading them to fall to their death) and Atton said "thanks". Now, I've heard people say that when you don't get anymore influence messages that you've maxed the influence, but that seems way too early to have maxed Atton's influence.... am I doing something wrong? The other thing I noticed that was weird is that even though I established Revan as a LS FEMALE character, there were at least two lines so far (one from Disciple) saying "he".... I wonder if that's just a screw-up or what... anyone else notice this?? The Atton thing is a bigger concern for me at this point though, and any input would be appreciated.

I'd like to second this request, and many thanks stop_him for converting the files. You have officially made my day week. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, seeing how my Atton Death clip went over so well, I'd be happy to make a mix of the Atton/Disciple scene if someone could tell me which folder the darn conversation's in. The Death scene was easy enough to find, but I can't seem to locate the DIsciple one.

Unfortunately, I can't put up the mp3 because my host doesn't allow mp3 files... that's why I converted them to windows media. If you download the mac version of the windows media player, I'm guessing it should play fine.

I think some of those simpler cut scenes probably will be modded, but there's a couple that would either be tricky or impossible, like Atton's death scene. That scene requires what sounds like a different model altogether (heavily wounded, and if connected to the Sion scene his arm would have to be gone as well) and new animation, considering that he's described as being crumpled on the floor so his animations/interactions would need to be unique to that scene. To me it sounds like it's not so much as modding as it is programming from scratch. I dunno, though... there are some really great modders out there. If they can really manage to program all that into a scene, then I'll most definitely want to see the outcome.

I think, in all honesty, that a patch is doubtful... Even if OE wants to do it, I bet it's LA that has the last word, and they're probably just satified enough that KOTOR2 has sold well enough to merit another sequel. These sound clips might be as close as you can get to a true endgame story.... why not listen to them..? You know you want to... and you'll feel so much better if you do.... Eji has moved closer to the Dark Side.

Dude... You guys are killing me here. Please stop. I mean this is seriously bumming me out. That Atton Death was truly awesome. Yet they cut it. Seriously. No more. I can't take much more of this before I honestly just take the game back. The more you guys dig up these files, the more I see how incomplete this game was. It would be like if when ROTJ had come out we went right from the troops gathering on Endor to the Emperor falling down the pit, and then the end credits suddenly rolling. This sucks, man. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't mean to bum you out, but I was equally bummed when I had initially read about this. I wanted to at least give people an option of hearing what was cut. (music for the Death clip was an adjusted segment from Vader's death music in ROTJ, heheh) Atton's death indirectly reminds me of KoTOR1's cut DS ending with Carth and female Revan dying together. Both were very strong pieces that deserved to be in the games, but whereas KoTOR1 still felt more-or-less complete at the end, 2 unfortunately didn't have the same effect on me. :/

Hi all, new to the forum here, but couldn't help but notice this interesting thread. I did some sifting through the voice folders and pieced together two of the scenes for your listening pleasure: Atton's Death Atton's "Need any company?" Bit I added some music to hopefully make it feel more appropriate, and tried to space out the dialogue for more dramatic effect. What do you think? :ph34r:
