I was extremely disappointed when I bought the album that one's from. It was the only song on there that I actually liked. Currently listening to - Erykah Badu's Worldwide Underground album.

The prose isn't necessarily any better or worse, but the writing often comes across as worse because I think many people are more sensitive to the context of romance than to other situations. "Oh, [CHARNAME]. I know that I'm a devout pacifist druid of Eldath and you're a halfling cleric of Talos, the Lord of Storms, but... as I stand next to you among this pile of fourteen freshly fireball-charred goblin corpses, I really feel something special between us. It's the sort of bond that could only be felt between me and someone like you, someone with the [PROTAGONIST] tag." 3. Shut up and get out of my face. "Oh... oh, [CHARNAME], how could you? After that one previous node of dialogue where you gave a non-hostile response, I thought I was something special to you! Well now I see I was wrong!" 5. Neeshka's okay - she serves her purpose well enough so far (and is thankfully not as irritating as old Tommy from NWN - "I can pick that open aaaaaasy..." *shudder*).

Well, I got my copy in the post on Friday. Happy enough so far. The graphics/performance aren't the best, but thus far it hasn't proved a huge deal. The game clearly isn't perfect, but I'm having fun. Oh and because I am lame, I got the CE. Like most other CEs, it sucks, except for the box - for some reason I really like the box. The "art book" is pretty poorly presented really, which is a shame. The ring is, of course, all kinds of awesome - if only I had an outfit to do it justice... Seriously, I don't know what it is that compels me to purchase Collector's Editions... <_<

As near as I can tell there isn't another thread here to explain what happened to the "house". But perhaps I missed it? As far as I know, there isn't an explaination. I don't tend to play demos, personally. I throw caution to the wind and all that I suppose! I don't actually remember the last demo I played... I used to play more demos back on the Amiga.

Haven't quite a few demos been released after the actual game release, or am I going a bit mad? For some reason I seem to remember that the BG2 demo came after the game - but I might well be wrong...I don't generally pay a great deal of attention to demo releases.

From a purely gamer perspective - I find mobile phone games pretty horrible. Maybe it is a sign of aging...but really, I have enough aggravation using a mobile for texting... I played one sort of cute little platform game on my old mobile, but really the controls got quite annoying as the buttons were quite small. I certainly wouldn't pay to play a game on my mobile - that's what my DS and PSP are for. I just want a mobile phone to be exactly that - a phone. wanders off muttering about "youth of today" and the price of fish...
