  1. Perfectly working... MSI K8N Neo2 (Nforce 3 Ultra) AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (s939) 1 GB Corsair pc3200 (2 x 512 MB, TwinX, dual channel) Ati Radeon 9800 Pro (Sapphire) running Catalyst 4.11 Creative SB Live 5.1 Windows XP Professional SP2 I only have encountered 1 dialogue error where the text was a bit faster than the sound. No graphical errors (textures or otherwise) or gameplay errors yet... Visited worlds -Peragus -Telos -Dantooine (no slowdown) -Nar Shaddaa
  2. That's more than enough... takes about 2.5 GB I think...
  3. Using the on-board video? What were your settings? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did you actually said you tried it with the on-board video? You just stated that it didn't work on 82865G motherboard. So you probably should've been a little more specific on the specs. And to answer you question. No, I played it using a nVidia 5700 card. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> smartass.... trying to be funny.....
  4. Mine is working perfectly....
  5. this patch only fixes the corrupt Manual PDF file in the Euro release. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Figures.... That's where their priorities are... bastards.... I may be one of the lucky ones that haven't encountered any problems yet (apart from a very small typo glitch), but there are really people waiting for this and they fix tha manual..... great.....
  6. Try the patch (if you have uk or other european version)
  7. really would like to know, but I'm currently at work, so I dont have KotOR 2 here.... well... I'll see it when I get home...
  8. anyone knows what this patch fixes????
  9. Yes your fault... This is a tech help forum, not a spoiler forum, you should have warned for spoilers...
  10. I now visited dantooine and still no problems at all with my 9800 Pro and 4.11 drivers.... I notice no drop in framerates...
  11. My experience with 9800 Pro: 4.11 Catalyst: No errors or bugs so far (praying)..... Game is running like a dream...
  12. Well I'm no techie but is it possible for the actual card to overheat? Sure that's the hard disc/processor's job. Either way, mine's not too bad. Not damagingly hot anyway. Can we stay on topic please? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> MR 9700 is just to slow to maintain a decent fps with aa and af 16x with a res of 1280x1024
  13. Have you tried turning any firewall or antivirus programs off???
  14. don't forget that the people on this forum are not obsidian employees... they don't have to help you, they'll do it voluntarily...
  15. You want to know why??? Because everyone is annoyed by your behaviour.... you're acting like a little kid...
  16. That's the thing, to begin with, they only had to get the game to run on ONE machine: the xbox. They failed miserably with that. Unplayable consoles game definitely isn't a trend either... the majority of console games that are, for all intents and purposes: bug-free. PC-games often have some bugs at release, but this many? Most games, say what you will about them, are probably playable after installation. Quake 3, Warcraft 3, American McGee's Alice, Wizardry 8, Baldur's Gate: 2... all these games played out of the box. Some may have had patches later, but they were all functional. I'd agree that they don't have to make the game work for us, but the consumers are entitled to a refund at the very least (unless you shop at Best Buy, where they assume all consumers are pirates). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This game is functional...It works perfectly for me (and I have an Ati card!!!)....
  17. This is definately not a 'pure' Ati problem... I have a 9800 Pro (Catalyst 4.11) and haven't encountered a single problem in the entire game yet.... Specs: K8N Neo2 (Nforce 3 Ultra) AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Radeon 9800 Pro (Sapphire) 1024 MB (dual channel) Corsair Creative SB Live 5.1
  18. Didn't happen to me....
