Races in KotOR II
Dead Skin Mask replied to OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'm sure I have said this about a dozen times, but I would like to see the last of the Massassi race guarding some sweet ancient Sith knowledge/artifacts. Yes I know the Massassi are supposedly killed on Yavin IV a fact that's just a little too neat for me. This was a full scale war there had to be Massassi troops elsewhere during the battle of Yavin IV just like there were Mandalorian troops elsewhere at the time. Plus who says Exar Kun didn't send a few chosen Massassi out during the battle to hide Naga Sadow's and other ancient Sith's secrets from the jedi. I know there is a slim chance of Lucas allowing Obsidian some creative leeway when pertaining to the Massassi, so I will just sit here and wait for hell to freeze over! Cheers! -
I wonder if there's a law in the Star Wars galaxy against Wookiephilia? I once payed fifty cents for a wookie prostitute, fifty seconds of pleasure, and fifty years of regret. Wookie love is pointless! Cheers!

That's cool must have been one hell of a fight! Since you blew him up it's too bad you couldn't have a smoked Rancor rib snack before entering the Vulkars base. Rancor ribs the other other white meat! :D Cheers!

You're being sarcastic right? Cheers!

Mission did the same thing when I killed her loser of a brother in the sand people enclave. Raven: "Damn it Mission snap out of it I killed your brother and fed him to the Bantha herd! Hell he is probably Bantha crap by now geez!" Cheers!

You knew you could just put the vile containing the Rancor musk and a grenade in the corpse pile and he would die immediately via cut scene after eating it? Cheers!

What would u like to see in KotOR 2
Dead Skin Mask replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I would like to see the last of the Massassi race guarding a Sith temple where the knowledge of Naga Sadow and various powerful Sith weapons, amulets, and armor are now kept. Also I would like to see the ability to wear a hooded robe with a mask like Revan did in the revolation cut scene from the first game. Cheers! -
Dark Force Pockets?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Adria Teksuni's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Perhaps if you feed off their power enough you will lose all touch with the lightside or Darkside just like Exar Kun when he visited Korriban. They could prove as a barrier for lightside Jedi like the Star Forge maps did. When Revan and Malak are about to find the first Star Map on Dantooine Malak says "If we go beyond this door there is no turning back! Is the knowledge of the Star Forge really that important?" The room was so tainted with the Darkside they knew once they entered it forever would the Darkside dominate their destinies. So perhaps powerful items will be blocked by these force aura's making the player choose whether or not they are worth the price in DS or LS points you will have to pay to wield them. Just a guess I am probably way off! Cheers! -
How do you intend to first play the game?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
No you're not the only one that finds that to be a bit odd. I guess this forum is just full of goody two shoes! I can see all of their damn halo's from here it's enough to make you sick! Cheers! -
Jedi Robes/Cloaks
Dead Skin Mask replied to Vanidar Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I hope you can wear a Mask with a hooded robe like Darth Revan did in the revolation cut scene in the first game. If not I will be majorly pissed off! Cheers! -
Qui-Gon Jinn was practically impaled by Darth Mual's lightsaber. He sure as hell looked like he died from a lightsaber wound to me. <_< Cheers!

Well in the Jedi Knight series both the Golan Arms FC-1 Flecette and Wookie Bowcaster fire bolts of metal enveloped with energy. The Golan is a shotgun type spread of metal while the Bowcaster is more like a crossbow bolt. Both these weapons can be deflected by your Lightsaber. Also the Imperial Heavy Repeater fires bullets at a super high rate, but they can all be deflected and blocked by your Lightsaber. The Imperial Merr-Sonn PLX-2M Portable Missile System can't be blocked with a Lightsaber however you can use force push to send it screaming back towards your enemies. If a Jedi can do that I see no reason why he couldn't pull a Matrix style attack against todays bullets, not only stoping them in mid flight but also sending them right back at the soldiers who fired them. In conclusion if a Lightsaber can stop and deflect an Imperial Heavy Repeater and force push can send a Rocket back to the shooter I see no reason why bullets would present even the slightest challenge to a Jedi or a Sith. (All weapon descriptions and info on the ammunition they fire come from Star Wars Jedi Outcast Jedi Knight II Game Manual) B) Cheers!

Personally I don't care either way. If Kotor 2 has a romance whoopie f'in doo. If it doesn't thats cool too. I'm easy. Cheers!
-
I second the sentiment. Ravel's love for the Nameless One is anything but 'cliched' and 'pre-teen.' ^^ Right I really liked the romance in Phantasy Star II. When Nei died I was so bumed! Sure I was only 8 or 9 years old at the time, but still even today a consider it a good crpg romance. B) Cheers!
