Most of the games lore and background story is hidden in item descriptions. Also pretty sure you haven't met Quelaana and spoke to Quelaag in Blighttown, who also have some lines of dialogue. I really like to gather every bit of information in the Souls games, getting every weapon, armor, spell and every possible line of dialogue to get a sense of the bigger picture and the games story. This kind of storytelling feels very refreshing compared to todays's cinematic storytelling in games.

Though you may be overleveled but the next boss fight is one of the game highlights and some of the best areas lie ahead like the Painted World of Ariamis, Duke's Archives and Oolacile.

DLC is out by the end of October and it's not PvP only. My best guess right now is to expect an Artorias of the Abyss DLC (a singleplayer campaign with a PvP arena).

Upgrading your weapon is probably the most important thing. Just keep playing and you will find out soon how to upgrade. The Claymore is a very solid weapon. My favorite greatsword for the early game.

Too bad. They have a good chance to drop their weapons.

The scene takes place in the Hunters Dream, where you can level up, trade, upgrade your weapons and port to other locations. The woman is a doll and she kneels before the Hunters Nightmare gravestone. She recites a prayer or prose to bless the hunter. A very rare moment in the game.

Taking a break from Dark Souls 3, waiting for the DLC. Tried to play the new Deus Ex game, but I cound't get past the tutorial. It bored me to death. So I returned to Bloodborne heading to the DLC area with my skill/arcane build. I was upgrading my weapon and you dont' believe what happened next (click bait ) Such a lovely moment. I have spent over 300 hours in Bloodborne, but this never happened before in my playthrough.

On my second playthrough I got enough summons to max out the covenant twice. Keep in mind that your weapon also influences matchmaking. -

Smouldering Lake, Untended Graves and Archdragon Peak are the only optional areas someone can miss in DS3.

Exactly. Basically those different colors represent different covenants, or factions in the game. The red ones are invaders, trying to kill the "Host of Embers". The blue ones are protecting the "Host of Embers" either by killing the invader or helping the player to reach the boss fight. The yellow and white ones are just for some co-op there. They help the "Host of Embers" to beat the boss. The purple one is supposed to be a mad phantom, bringing chaos into the world of the "Host of Embers", but a lot of people play them like normal red invaders. After fulfilling your task you get an item, allowing you to rank up in your covenant and getting new spells/rings/weapons/shields. -

A leap of faith... P1: So you have been summoned by someone with a bad connection, too? P2: Yup. P1: Should we return, making his boss fight easier? P2: Nope, let us relax. You shall no pass... Gentlemen's club... Gank squad... Hard times for invaders... P1: "Guys, I could really need that Vertebra Shackle." P2: "We all could need a Vertebra Shackle, Bendu." In your face... -

Guys I'm thinking of starting on DS1 ? But I'm not sure I have patience to keep going back every time I die?Is it worth....you guys all seem to like it? Well, you will die a lot in the game. But there are severel bonfires in each area, which are checkpoints. So once you know the path to the boss, you can ignore most enemies and run to the boss area. I really think it's worth to stick to the game and not give up. It has unique storytelling and multiplayer, great bossfights and fantastic exploration. The level and world design in DS1 is simply brilliant. I have DS1 &2 on Steam .....okay so your view is just learn the game play What class would you recommend for a novice? Make sure to install the DSfix 2.4. It's the only mod you really need and it's very easy to install (just copy&paste and editing a .ini file). In DS1 I like to start with the Pyromancer class. You get fire magic, a decent weapon and you can roll fast. My very basic recommendations would be learn to lock on enemies, learn to doge and roll, never put a level up into resistance, always level up attunement to at least 19 and take the Old Witch's Ring as your starting gift.
