  1. Indeed. Someone here or on the GameBanshee boards recorded the sound file and played it backwards. It's just rhythmic English played backwards, but when it's done through a voice filter, it does sound pretty cool.
  2. She was only mostly dead.
  3. Unless they've fixed it for the PC version (which I assume you're playing) there is a way to seriously powergame your character on Korriban. You will enter a room with a right and left hand turn, but your immediate attention will be drawn to the Hssiss, which currently occupies the room. Once you dispatch the beast, take the path to the right, and after a turn, you will come to a room with four pillars and dead jedi in the center. As soon as you click on the dead jedi to loot their corpses, you will be set upon by two Hssiss who spawn near you. Now every time you click on the dead jedi, two Hssiss appear, and if you continually click on the corpse, more Hssiss will appear. This is where Drain Force and Death Field really shine, because you can take out 10-12 Hssiss without breaking a sweat (light or dark side doesn't really matter, I powerlamed my 3rd character to level 35 within a couple of hours, and I was the "paragon of light" type of jedi). You should never run out of force points, and Death Field should drain enough health from the surrounding beasts to make even their critical hits disappear. Do yourself a favor, though, and save often, becuase if two or three crits land at the same time (and the will), you'll get killed in one go, depending on your class. I was a consular with somewhere in the neighborhood of 390 HP, and they WILL hit hard enough to do 105 HP on a crit.
  4. Ladies and gentlemen...may I present you with... SOMEONE WITH NO SENSE OF SARCASM!! I thought it was funny in that tripped-out, dude-put-the-pipe-down-while-I-edge-away-from-you way.
  5. You seem to be doing an awful lot to convince us that the last game was really easy, and this one is going to be really easy as well. Are you trying to compensate for some insecurities? Naw, man. Putting the game on hard isn't necessarily going to alter the experience noticably. About the only big thing you're going to notice is the increased DC's on alot of crap. Unless you're playing a Sentinel char. with a high INT, there's no way you're going to be running around, slicing, repairing, and disarming everything. 'S all I noticed while I've been playing. I'm probably imagining it, but I think random item generation is a little more generous. I don't have 75 medpacs this game...
  6. I love responses like the first 3; technically correct, but totally unhelpful. Is there a rule on the internet that we have to be all smarmy and sarcastic when delivering a response to, what seems at least on the surface, a genuine question? It took almost an hour and a half for someone to respond with a modicum of civility. Cheers, Tentamus. Where in the holy hell is your avatar from?
  7. Are you quite sick of hearing about those two yet? 1) What is the minimum amount of time, IYO, that I have to spend with handmaiden to keep her from going all psychotic on me when she Visas and she argue the first time. I know that if you completely ignore her, then she'll freak out on you after her and V's first argument, and then you've screwed the pooch as far as sparring her goes. But I don't really want more than the WIS bonus to AC (I know, I'm such a prick), because I want to explore all the pseudo-romance options with Visas. 2) On a similar note, is there even a point? I've beaten the game, and I've gotten the weird force-nookie with Visas, where she told me she loved me, even though she doesn't really know me, and loved me as soon as she knew I existed (which really sounds kinda psycho-stalker, but hey, I'm not making any better games, so who am I to complain, you know?) The question is this: have I seen everything? Is there other dialogue trees to go through, or all her conversations with the PC the same, no matter who you choose to have a quasi-relationship with? It took a really long time to ask those two questions. I'll chalk it up to the coffee that I've been drinking. It's morning here in Okinawa, and I hate mornings. So I need lots of coffee...is it normal for the borders of the screen to be blurry? :D
  8. Bleh. I just wanted to take GO-TO in my party to find Goto, so I could kill him, and hopefully make his retarded driod blow up. The smug, self-assured, condescending tone of the guy I JUST RUINED made sure that I never used his stupid little driod.
