I'm currently looking at a gift wrapping. I think it looks vaguely like Age of Empires 3. But, what am I playing? Well... At friends: Mercenaries Silent Hill 2 MoH: Frontline Final Fantasy 10 Grandia 2 At mah home: Icewind Dale 2 Baldur's Gate 2 Avernum 3 Ground Control 2

Most of that stuff(clouds, destruction, etc) is in Mercenaries already. Nothing to go 'wow' about.

dunno. when people lists the bestest sw games evar, we almost always see tie fighter at top of the list. battlezone and warhammer: dark omen is also on our list. is two of the more innovative and well crafted strategy games of the last decade... games that it seems like nobody save for game developers has played. lots of NEW stuff we see in recent rts games were things we seen in those games a long tme ago. Just bought both Silent Hill 2 and Mercenaries:Playground of Destruction(both on xbox) for a meager 31 euros and Shadow of Rome and Onimusha 3:Demon Siege(on PS2) for about 45 euros. Now, I know the ones who're on the receiving end of these gifts will enjoy them, that's why I chose them, but I'm having second thoughts. Any thoughts? Hell, why not use this as a general christmas gift game thread? Go on, shoot.
