Right, so X3 was fine. I agree with most here about it. Famke Janssen is...just wow. WOW! After paying myself sick to see that, although seeing it on big screen was almost worth all the euros, I saw the dvd-rip of Bourne Identity, which was suprisingly good. Definetly one of my favorites, an ever increasing list which I forget the contents of every day, from now on.

I have not played IWD 1, but the second oe was really good. Well, really good when it was the only rpg available. Ambience goes through the roof once you tackle the goblin siege though, so it can entertain me just with atmosphere. Very good interactions, decent story, nice level design, good music and ambience plus character creation system to die for. Calling BG better is just stupid.

Well, THAT looks good. Thanks for posting it. The options available there are very interesting. Hopefully the rest of the game is like that. Plus, SECKS MINIGAME! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That actually looks kind of good. I mean the quests, not the mini game.

I dunno, I thought the setting, pacing and variety of challenges together were quite a leap from the crap we see nowadays. I mean Eastern Block dystopian scifi setting shaded with touches of doomsday with an overal theme of revolution was kinda awesome.

A bit old, but still funny. I have zil experience of dogs, but I doubt that's exactly normal behaviour.

Certain traditions need to be upheld. Like cleaning the whole level of crooks by banging their head with a lead implement, a la Thief. :D No, seriously, I want to do the missions as cool and clean as possible, but it's a welcome change from strangling everything that stands in your way. I would have preferred cloroform and then ropes though.

And I linked the damn thing in the first post. Sheez. Numbs, it sounds very good. I think I'll buy it. Oh, and StillLife, you'd think a genetically enhanced killing machine with years of experience would know what to hit and how hard.

ETOS - Lost rune of thunder

I think it's funny that the single most interesting new feature the game has is the human shield and what you can do with it. The funny bit is that it took so long to implement that. Not to mention knockout without sedative. I mean, how hard can it be to knock the lights out of some crook for half an hour or so? It's a logical implement.
