Yeah, it's a total conversion for Rome:Total War, called Europa Barbarorum. Very hard, very fun. The original game, what purists call "vanilla"(I just call it RTW), isn't all that difficult. The combat dynamics, like fatigue, morale and height are pretty sensible and anyone can pick the game up. There's also a decent empire building sim there, which the demos don't have, since they are all combat. Well worth looking into if you are a strategy gamer. And, since it's you, Miss Dungeon Keeper, I have no doubt you wouldn't like the Total War games. :D

Eh, why? I agree that it doesn't exactly serve any other purpose than being a base for the odd music discussion now and then, but since mostly everything posted here is on-topic and the thread doesn't increase post count and therefore can't be whored, I don't really see a problem. No, no problem with Ryu as a character(heh, insofar as he can even be called one, not much of development to speak of). It's just that, eh, if it comes to choosing I'd pick a hellen war god over the tacky super ninja any day.
