Princess Mononoke Ooh, this is the quintessential Ghibli experience. Just spellbinding! Faerytale-like and yet mature. I'm in the rpocess of watching Akira and while I don't think the changes made to the manga plot are exactly for the better(like the lack of Akira himself nevermind), it's highly entertaining. Watching Tetsuo tear up Tokio and then see the government blast the battlefiled with Sol is just grand.

I had that problem with RTW too. I couldn't understand why the Romans couldn't train greek auxiliaries or the scythians adopt some infantry tactics. RTR implemented culture exhange somewhat, EB even more. I wish MTW2 had that.

It being real-time wasn't the problem, the battle model and the fact that their idea of difficulty was to just chuck more fast enemies at you, were the problems.
