  1. Word Bearers, Kronus Liberators and Blood Ravens, all are driven to the earth by Ulthwe. Assaulting Deimos peninsula was superb fun and the hardest fight so far. I love how varied the objectives in the fortress assault levels can be. Especially the Deimos peninsule fight were you had to first get rid of the blood pulse pillars by taking hold of the Khorne point there. If that wasn't difficult enough, the enemy outnumbered you three to one and Chaos Lord Eliphas ascended to demonhood halfway through the level and started pestering you all over the level, flying and assaulting your forces from the air. Then there were bonus objectives and such, Throughly an enjoyable experience. The debriefing was also great: I could just imagine the kilometer high runes of light the Eldar used to cleanse the peninsula. Granted, the Victory Bay fight against the Imperial Guard was a bit better, what with the Titan Hellstorm cannon blocking your way(and killing all of my Warp Spiders on the first meeting) and with the basilisks bombarding your poor troops advancing through the mishmash of mines, turrets, tanks and rows upon rows of soldiers. Yes, and four Baneblades. :D Too bad that the Eldar are rather useless against Necrons, especially ones with a full honour guard. I don't plan on attacking them in their stronghold(army strength 14 there plus the honour guard is there) anywhen soon. They really are the biggest threat in Kronus.
  2. You. I've never downloaded anime.
  3. Assaulting Deimos Peninsule in Dark Crusade. Still as Eldar. Necrons are insanely fun to play, btw.
  4. It's saturday? Goddamn, I blame excess alcohol.
  5. And it's a rather cool appearance.
  6. I'd tell you to get a girlfriend, Stuubo, but you already have one. Do you have a life? Friends outside the internet? C'mon, gimme weapons! Oh, it's almost 12:15 here, watch that Full Metal Alchemist. Preferably with your girlfriend. :D
  7. Where is that evident? Surfer could very well be just like in the comics. Really, I expect Galactus to come a-knocking and Surfer to turn tables at the end.
  8. Black Lagoon, Trigun and perhaps Witch Hunter Robin. Definetly.
  9. Rawrrr

No, seriously: You get that five stars from standing up to Hades and Darque.

  10. I don't understand atheism, because it is confusing. How can you believe that when you die, you sieze to exit? Entirely, no afterlife, no consciousness, no anything. Thinking of death must leave you with a really hollow feeling.
  11. My. Dear. Lux. Eterna.
  12. Twilight Singers - Bonnie Brae - 66 Some of my dormmates had a hard time with me when during a party I first showed how to headbang to Opeth's Grand Conjuration(with my emo-hair) and then promptly asked the Dj would he bother to play White Album. He didn't, but I had to provide said album. Later, when asked, I also told what exactly was so different in When My Guitar Gently Weeps compared to all other Beatles song's. Answer: Eric Clapton cameo and a real guitar solo. I rule.
  13. Inno A Sataaaaanaaaaaa!!!!! \,,/ Edit: I AM....THEEEEMMMM!
  14. Goddamn, getting familiar with al the new hijincs is going to take a long time.
  15. Oh man, apples or oranges? Hard choice.
  16. Rain slows everyone down, adds to fatigue and bow strings tend to get wet too. :D Similarly, fog affects range, line of sight and accuracy, in snow it's hard to fight for a long time if you are not accustomed(certain traits or coming from a wintry enviroment), blizzards are hell, so are sandstorms and burning heat, and shallow water can kill wading units that are tired. All in all, a lot of factors to account for, but they don't matter as much as they used to in Medieval Total War or Shogun.
  17. ^Elephants+flank of spearmen+city fight=familiar much? Urgh, it doesn't matter whether I know the fighting mechanics and intricacies(manifold and enjoyable) like the back of my hand(hairy and rather scarred) or not, since there always some unaccounted quirk or factor that can turn a well-planned battle upside down. Like weather or, for example, a unit sacrificing itself for victory. Or those goddamn elephants running amok. :D
  18. City 17 as location, a machinima in your signature, a correspondingly huge post about HL 2 that exerts a fine bouquet of fandom ? All check. Yeah, you're a fanboy. Don't mind it that much, we've all been there. I had somehow got the understanding that the Dragon-title had to be earned in the community.
  19. Twilight Singers - Too tough to die Probs to Drabs
  20. If by "drama" you mean hot intercourse, then yes. And so that that wouldn't come totally out of the blue, left field, ex nihil, I must point out that Bethesda would never be stupid enough to just outright bluntly delete a working rpg system. Should they just overwrite SPECIAL with their own established system(of Morrowind and Oblivion fame) turned into a post-apoc modrern world variant(with corresponding weapon classes and whatnot) everyone would blame them for being lazy. Not to mention, there's bound to be folks who love Fallout on the team and a great lot of them probably associate SPECIAL as one of the working blocks of the very essence of Fallout, what makes a Fallout experience. Just as quite many of the old fans do. I think we need not worry. Of course, this is just speculation and opinions.
  21. RTS genre hasn't been doing this great since 2001, this could very well be called the third golden age. The genre is actually evolving!
  22. I'm watching Fate Stay Night(or however it's written). Good, fairly mindless fun. It looks like the most absurdly Japanese(besm-syndrome, magic-powahs, summonics, growing-up story, huge swords, etc) series since Chrno Crusade.
  23. Oh, ok. Funny how quickly someone can become a fanboy when it comes to this game's assets.
  24. Most of us are rather acquainted with the "professional" terms. And Half-Life 2. Actually, it's probably the most played game of all regulars here.
