Im glad the combat in the kotor series is sorta FF Stlye, it lets you pause, and plan a good strategy, which is cool, cos you know exactly whos doing what, instead of rushing into a situaion and just button mashing.

you are really sucked in by that 'fixing the glitches' crap. They are not specially delaying the game just to fix glitches up for us. Its cos they dont give two hoots about australians, and we can just sit and wait!

i used to be a lotr fanboy, but Im over it now. I felt that the constant hyping and promoing of the movies rasie d evry1s expectations, and rotk was a bit long. The battle scenes are always over pompous, and they are always false climaxing, e.g. bfore the rohirrim ride to minas tirith, the huge pompous music and speech before they ride, etc. etc.

Personally I enjoy the story more, I like interacting with the characters, combat sometimes gets dull.

Yeah, I agree. I suppose all sci fi movies and games are unrealistic. Just like when in the movies when they're flying through space you hear the lasers and the explosions etc., but in reality you wouldn't hear anything, because there is no sound in space. (sound waves need air to travel along).

I always thought this was a bit strange: The Kotor series is set 4,000 years before the movies. But basically all the planets that feature in the game from the movies look exactly the same. And all the technology from the movies is almost the same as the stuff in the movies. I mean come on, look back on human kind 4000 years ago. Today we are so far more advanced and evolved than that, its un recognisable. I think that planets and tech would have evolved more.
