  1. GotG comes out next year. What was the after credits scene in IM3?
  2. I wonder what would come back if Vancouver dangled the Sedins as tradebait. Nevermind, it probably won't happen.
  3. Gretzky is acting???
  4. I`d laugh if they rehired Brian Burke.
  5. C'mon San Jose, you can do this.
  6. I was on my way for breakfast this morning when I heard a crack from under the hood of my SUV. Then my power steering went. Then all my dash lights came on. I made it back to my driveway, and under my hood I see a beautifully destroyed serpentine belt. What a pain in the ass it was to get at it and replace. Thank god for a helpful father and a handy neighbor. Now I have to clean up and go to work for a ten hour shift. Just freakng lovely.
  7. The driving range at my local golf club opened up earlier this week, but yesterday was the first real day of spring. We had 90k winds the other day. After hitting a few hundred balls in two sessions, I'm also realizing how much I've let myself go over the last couple of years. Turning 40 this year will probably suck.
  8. Fringe has a clicking point midway through season one, where it goes from being an x-files knockoff to something more individual. And I agree with Raithe, season four is a bit off, and I still haven't managed to make it past episode three of season five. Has anyone been watching Arrow? Is it any good?
  9. I agree with all of those except the last. It won't be an easy playoffs for the returning champs, but I think the Kings will at least go past the second round.
  10. It's too late now. Maybe for the start of round two?
  11. All I'm thankful for is that the Oilers finished ahead of Calgary this year. We still sucked, but not as bad as those guys! I want Iginla to win a cup.
  12. Vikings has gotten better as the season has went on.
  13. Edit: This year, next year, and probably the year after that.
  14. Unless some serious changes are made, I don't think the Oilers will be doing anything aside from golf in May. Or go represent their home countries in the world championships.
  15. Quit watching now, you won't regret it! Season four and five weren't very good, IMO, at all. I'm on the third episode of The Beast. The only reason I'm watching it is because it's got Ragnar Lothbrok in it. Aside from that, I'm halfway through the first season of Blake's 7. It's good, but so dated I need to space out the episodes to not get overcome in the cheese factor. And Friday nights aren't the same without Spartacus. Absolutely loved the last season after the previous faltered a little. Liam MacIntyre did very well with a tough situation. His showdown at the end was truly epic teevee.
  16. I liked the bullet in the eye. The acting was good, I thought. Routh was good as Clark Kent, but wow, just a horrible, horrible story.
  17. That looks mighty impressive. I don't think it will be the letdown that was Superman Returns.
  18. The first two series of Misfits are hilarious. After that, the show is watchable, but not of the same quality.
  19. So Edmonton fires its GM, only to bring in an ex coach with no GM experience. Oh yes, this will work out well. At least the press conference was entertaining, what with the media finally growing a pair and asking some tough questions. You're next on the block, Kevin Lowe.
  20. **** it, I'm not watching any more hockey this year.
  21. I've had KFC maybe four times in the past ten years. They pissed me off by discontinuing the onion nuggets. A Carl's Jr. opened up nearby a few months ago and I still haven't been. Does it suck? I also drove by my favorite golf course today, just to torture myself. It's supposed to snow another 10 centimeters this weekend.
  22. After a tough loss tonight it looks like the Oilers slim playoff hopes have been dashed. The team was better this year ( although they still have a chance at finishing in the bottom five), and hopefully, next year ( you say that a lot as Oiler fans) we can ice a more competitive team.
  23. While the Oilers five game winning streak raised everyone's expectations, I think the reality is the team has too many holes and not enough players willing to play with the effort required to win games at the NHL level. As happy as I was that Ryan Smyth came back to the team, he's appearing to be in a little over his head this year. On the positive side, he is managing to stay on his feet a lot more and not falling over every time someone comes near him.
  24. I read he won't be back until the last week of the season, at best. At least your team was in the top eight for more than a weekend. Edmonton has been shown up by LA last game and Anaheim is running circles around them right now. It's not going to be much fun having them in the same conference next year
  25. I'd still say Sid is the best player in the league, but Martin St.Louis is just about the best set up man since Adam Oates. Too bad Calgary couldn't see that when they let him go. Iginla may have won the RR a couple more timws
