  1. I'm supposed to be at work in ten minutes.
  2. It's only episode 2. It's LOST. At least we have clues to some evil corporation or something like that.
  3. Jungle savages or crash survivors? That pit could be used for boars.
  4. I don't know Darque, the kind of 'ass backward' thing works for me. Next week it looks like the fit will hit the shan...
  5. It's freezing out here. That's what one snowman says to another, I think. I don't like sharks.
  6. I feel guilty looking at the pic without being able to properly credit the artist in question.
  7. I can't say that I've watched an entire episode of Alias in one sitting. I'm not a huge Jennifer Garner fan. I did, however, enjoy watching Felicity. Yes, I know I'm too manly for my own good. It's a curse. Hey only forty more minutes!!!
  8. Sometimes I wonder if there is a bigger idiot than Jeremy Roenick in the NHL. Problem solved!! His teammate Sean Avery decided to step up to the plate. Way to go, dude!!! http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?ID=137855
  9. Cool link, Laozi. I liked the last page. It has a B&W pic of an opium smoker. And the last shot from the Crazyhorse saloon was sweet as well.
  10. Forge>Toad. But none can stand up to the awesome power of the Banshee!! "OOOOOOEEEEOOOOOOOEEEEOOOOOOEEEEOOOOO!!!"
  11. Today I could not get Fleetwood Macs 'Rumours' out of my head.
  12. EIGHT MORE DAYS!!!! I wonder if the CBC will have their **** together sometime this season. If they try to broadcast hockey like they have been with football, we be in some serious trouble, massa...
  13. This would actually be the year they do it, don't ya think? The last time was 94. Before that it was 82. This is starting to remind me of the Lost thread for some strange reason... I like the Canucks but I still think Cloutier should be traded for Luongo.
  14. I've seen that too, but I figure since they are all playing each other eight times this season there won't be too many points to go around. And for Colorado, I should have added the words "Joe Sakic" beside the smoke and mirror bit. Year in and year out, he still gets the job done. And he still has one of the best wrist shots in the game.
  15. He seperates fighters as well. There was no new hockey on teevee today. Je suis sad. And J.R. goes down. Again. And I hear Anson Carter is bringing down the Canucks already. Its getting pretty close to the real thing now. Clubs are trimming their rosters, young players dreams are crushed for another year, and hockey pools are in full tilt. I love this feeling. Since its a slow night, here's my predictions for the West this year. 1. Detroit ...Yzermans swan song will be triumphant 2. Colorado..Smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors 3. San Jose...young players ready to step up 4. Dallas...Turco and Guerin will lead the show 5. Chicago...see San Jose 6. Vancouver...losses on blue line will hurt 7. Edmonton...whoot whoot 8. Calgary...I'm being generous 9. Los Angeles...if the injury bug stays away... 10.Anaheim...this team will miss Steve Rucchin/ Rob Neidermeyer is teh suxxor 11.Columbus...will be better next year 12.Nashville...see above 13.St.Louis...Dougie Weight can't hold this team together 14.Minnesota...top line will be good but not much else to crow about 'cept goalies 15.Phoenix...um, better luck next year? Actually I can see spots 5 through 12 being seperated by about six points, ten at the most.
  16. Okay so I've spent a bit of time playing the first game this weekend. And as much as I hate to say it, Wolverine is about my best character. He is usually the last to die, and I find the fastball special quite hilarious. I still don't have to like Wolverine though.
  17. Speaking of nothing getting changed, I got my first look at Kerry Fraser for the season. I think if he fell to the ice real bad all that hairspray would protect him about as much as a helmet.
  18. I've been watching a few preseason games so far (today had three games in a row) and I have to say with all the penalties the flow of the game is quite off. I like the end to end action, but it doesn't seem to be happening quite as much as a person would expect. And I think my fantasy pool line is going to be Heatley, Spezza and that other dude they have on the wing. Talk about chemistry...
  19. With a free 'Forget the true sith, your enemy is the Gizka' button to boot.
  20. One of the things I hated from the first game was having to play as Wolverine for the opening level. I have no use for that guy.
  21. I see what you're saying Darque. But maybe Jacks father created whatever it is that the hatch guy has been injecting himself with. Possibly he's been drinking himself to death because he knows what he's done ( even though nobody else seems to). I know I'm grasping, but I can't shake the feeling that Jacks dad has something to do with the island.
  22. So now I'm thinking ( don't worry it won't happen again) that maybe Jack wasn't that far off when he saw his dad in the jungle. I mean if Locke is mysteriously healed, who's to say the island couldn't reanimate a corpse? I know its a stretch, but with black tentacles appearing from nowhere who's to say?
  23. Actually he went to Philly near the end of the season.
  24. Okay well here's the throwdown on Amonte: He was born in 1970, which is only a couple of years before me, so I guess I shouldn't call him that old. 25. How old is Tony Amonte now, anyway? Is he in his forties yet? I picked him in my last hockey pool when he went to play in Phoenix. I figured 'hey, he'll be the big fish in the little pond'. Man was I a sucker. I don't think he'll ever put up the points like he did with the Blackhawks.
