NHL is back
ROTFLMAO!! Notice I didn't rip into the Flames when we won 4-0 the night before? Karma is a good thing. Ty Conklin just had a bad four minutes, thats all. Plus Cory( my first name is cool but thats about it) Cross and Alexei (You want me to check someone? Really?) were at the core of our defense. Which explains a lot.

Getting up early in the morning
Since we've done everything but answer your question, Atreides, let me share some usefull knowledge that I've figured out from fifteen years of shift work. 1. Go to bed early. 2. Stay away from naps. 3. Avoid things like coffee, carbonated beverages and such at least two hours before going to bed. I would say that if you're sleeping through the buzzer of your alarm clock, switch to the radio. If that doesn't work, try cranking the volume on your ac. That works for me a lot.

I'm supposed to be at work in ten minutes.

ABC Miniseries....The Lost
It's only episode 2. It's LOST. At least we have clues to some evil corporation or something like that.

It's freezing out here. That's what one snowman says to another, I think. I don't like sharks.

Star Wars Fan Art
I feel guilty looking at the pic without being able to properly credit the artist in question.

ABC Miniseries....The Lost
I can't say that I've watched an entire episode of Alias in one sitting. I'm not a huge Jennifer Garner fan. I did, however, enjoy watching Felicity. Yes, I know I'm too manly for my own good. It's a curse. Hey only forty more minutes!!!

NHL is back
Sometimes I wonder if there is a bigger idiot than Jeremy Roenick in the NHL. Problem solved!! His teammate Sean Avery decided to step up to the plate. Way to go, dude!!! http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?ID=137855

All that Jazz
Cool link, Laozi. I liked the last page. It has a B&W pic of an opium smoker. And the last shot from the Crazyhorse saloon was sweet as well.

NHL is back
This would actually be the year they do it, don't ya think? The last time was 94. Before that it was 82. This is starting to remind me of the Lost thread for some strange reason... I like the Canucks but I still think Cloutier should be traded for Luongo.

NHL is back
I've seen that too, but I figure since they are all playing each other eight times this season there won't be too many points to go around. And for Colorado, I should have added the words "Joe Sakic" beside the smoke and mirror bit. Year in and year out, he still gets the job done. And he still has one of the best wrist shots in the game.

NHL is back
He seperates fighters as well. There was no new hockey on teevee today. Je suis sad. And J.R. goes down. Again. And I hear Anson Carter is bringing down the Canucks already. Its getting pretty close to the real thing now. Clubs are trimming their rosters, young players dreams are crushed for another year, and hockey pools are in full tilt. I love this feeling. Since its a slow night, here's my predictions for the West this year. 1. Detroit ...Yzermans swan song will be triumphant 2. Colorado..Smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors 3. San Jose...young players ready to step up 4. Dallas...Turco and Guerin will lead the show 5. Chicago...see San Jose 6. Vancouver...losses on blue line will hurt 7. Edmonton...whoot whoot 8. Calgary...I'm being generous 9. Los Angeles...if the injury bug stays away... 10.Anaheim...this team will miss Steve Rucchin/ Rob Neidermeyer is teh suxxor 11.Columbus...will be better next year 12.Nashville...see above 13.St.Louis...Dougie Weight can't hold this team together 14.Minnesota...top line will be good but not much else to crow about 'cept goalies 15.Phoenix...um, better luck next year? Actually I can see spots 5 through 12 being seperated by about six points, ten at the most.

X-Men RPG
Okay so I've spent a bit of time playing the first game this weekend. And as much as I hate to say it, Wolverine is about my best character. He is usually the last to die, and I find the fastball special quite hilarious. I still don't have to like Wolverine though.

NHL is back
Speaking of nothing getting changed, I got my first look at Kerry Fraser for the season. I think if he fell to the ice real bad all that hairspray would protect him about as much as a helmet.

NHL is back
I've been watching a few preseason games so far (today had three games in a row) and I have to say with all the penalties the flow of the game is quite off. I like the end to end action, but it doesn't seem to be happening quite as much as a person would expect. And I think my fantasy pool line is going to be Heatley, Spezza and that other dude they have on the wing. Talk about chemistry...

X-Men RPG
One of the things I hated from the first game was having to play as Wolverine for the opening level. I have no use for that guy.

ABC Miniseries....The Lost
I see what you're saying Darque. But maybe Jacks father created whatever it is that the hatch guy has been injecting himself with. Possibly he's been drinking himself to death because he knows what he's done ( even though nobody else seems to). I know I'm grasping, but I can't shake the feeling that Jacks dad has something to do with the island.
