  1. World of Warcraft. I was lured in by assurances that it supported a solo playstyle and much to my surprise I'm loving it. So much that I won't be playing Kotor 2 as soon as I'd thought. Lady E.
  2. Did I hear the sound of a joke passing overhead? Lady Evenstar
  3. Me neither, but chances the guy sitting at a check out desk isn't a librarian. :D Lady E.
  4. Actually, I was quite surprised. I recently bought an Alienware PC, and once I factored in the $500 rebate (which I haven't yet received!), it was priced competitively. I also noticed that the rebate dropped from $500 to $300 and the overall price seemed to have gone up a bit about a week after I bought mine. The service has been great. My only real complaint is that it's a bit noisy. Lady E.
  5. I'm a libraian also--and curious about the shrug. After almost 30 years I still find librarianship an interesting blend of technology, people, and materials. To have a job that's both intellectually stimulating and socially useful is no small blessing! Lady E.
  6. The hot dog would be--elsewhere. Lady E.
  7. Do I detect unreasoning prejudice against minivan drivers? Actually the point was to reduce distractions by providing space for two large dog crates. We don't own a cell phone, and I don't think I've ever had a 64 oz. drink--in my lap or elsewhere. Wouldn't mind a hot dog, though ... Lady E.
  8. It was a treat to see the salesman's face when I asked if we could get a Honda Odyssey with a standard transmission! For me it's less a performance issue than driving-fun. And my 1990 Integra, while showing its age a bit cosmetically, is a lot of fun. Lady E.
  9. No silly arcade games as part of the critical path! It's fine to include them so long as playing them is not essential to completing the game. Lady E.
