  1. I agree that you can make Visas LS, but you have to be DS to get the wookie (if you are LS or neutral you get Mira) so you would have to get evil enough to get the wookie and then change your mind and become LS
  2. Frame rate problem is severe - especially near the end when you have multiple opponents (didn't see it as much till then) but when fighting more than three or four people and using force wave things get real slow. Loading takes WAY TOO LONG - those are the techy problems the gameplay problems are worse . . . unfinishable quests . . . ridiculous ending . . . and even more ridiculous converstaions / continuity issues
  3. You can influence Mira to be bad, you just need to get her when you are still ls or neutral, If you are DS enough to get the wookie then I am not sure if you can turn it around to make him good
  4. The short answers to your question is yes, if you go to Nar early, you will probably not be ds enough to get the 'other' companion that you don't want. And yes the companion you want can be influenced to be bad i.e.
  5. Sucks in comparison to the first . . . unfinishable quests . . . storyline gaffes . . . bugs . . . conversation loops . . . no continuity . . . character selection characters act like they have been with you for the entire journey - which leads to silly conversations with people who have just met (love, hate, etc.) but still a decent game (I would give it a 7.0)
  6. The first time that you break off to having only the little droid, you need to blow the door to get the spikes to open another door. I have two sonic detonators and 3 deadly sonic mines, when I go to open the door I can't access the detonators, only the mines which are a level that T3 can't use . . . therefore I can't get to spikes to open the next door. This didn't happen the first time through, not sure what is different
  7. whether you are dark or light If you are light (or only kinda bad) you get Mira If you are already well on the way to being dark then you get the wookie
  8. This is sorta a repeat but, If this is the first time, just follow the quests and you will end up on Onderon. If the jedi has told you to come back, then you should land, have the mandalorian guide escort you back to the camp and this will start the next quests
  9. Someone else mentioned this..from what I gather you have to be about 75% to either dark or lightside, past lvl 15 and you have to have visa with you and talk to Kreia...or some combination of those...I dunno..strange way to do this..should have just gotten an option at a certain level or something. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, if you want a prestige class, you have to be highly on one side or the other, you can't play the middle. Then you have be at least lev 15, have Visas and have visited all the planets at least once. I missed out on a Prestige class the first time through as I played the middle making decisions 'just for fun' this time through I will not make that mistake again
  10. Like the previous post said don't go to Nar Shada last, even though it does make for a very funny spoiler I went to Korriban first (pretty easy) then Onderon/Dxun then Dantooine when doing it again I would go to Nar first then it doesn't really matter
  11. Don't know what to say then, you might have to go to some other places and see what happens when you get back (or just head towards Jekk Jekk Tarr and see what happens) You might be effed, had somethign similar happen to me on my second time thorugh on Peragus . . . the random drop feature of the game dropped me some high level mines that the little droid couldn't use (his demo skill was too low) therefore I had to restart, because he couldn't blast open the door to get the computer spikes (you would think they wouldn't let that happen) maybe because you didn't go back immediately you ran had both the Red Eclipse mission and the Jekk Jekk Tarr mission at the same time and the computer 'forgot' one of them
  12. The person looking for dancers is in the Cantina in the Entertainment section
  13. OK, here is the definitive deal . . . there are fourteen ways to gain 'notice' from the Ex . . . once you finish enough of them they will contact you (there isn't a certain one you HAVE to do) 1. Kill the Serroco and Exchange in the Ref sector 2. The Bith scientist 3. Fassa and the traffic (get the three ships landed) 4. Steal from Vogga (use yourself (if female) or the handmaiden as a dancer to get in and rob the Hutt 5. Beat the Pazaak champ 6. Get the Pazaak password and beat all customers 7. Pay the little guy in the Entertainment area 2,000 to spread rumors about you (this one supposedly works really well) 8. Spice Smugglers 9. The trade war 10. Swoop droid and several default encounters . . . that you probably had just walking around
  14. Here is how it worked for me I was an LS, so I sided with the lady, when I went back and told the guy (for either the second or third time) he says he is leaving and I will regret it . . . then as soon as I moved Atton called and said he received a message, I chose the coming back immediately option and went back to the ship . . . where I learned that it was the Ex and he wanted to talk to me. Don't know what happens if you don't select to go immediately (I assume that you have already tried just going back to the ship) - have you talked to the Hutt yet? I have the guide, I will look at it and let you know if I see anything that would help
  15. Playing the game a second time as a DS char On Peragus, first time you break away and play as T3-M4. Need to open the door to continue . . . the guy dropped mines that T3-M4 doesn't have the skill to place (therefore I can't get the spike I need to open the door. This would be very annoying if it happened any later in the game, but will just fix it with a quick restart. Was wondering if there were any other 'silly' things that have happened to any of you because of the new 'random' item drops
  16. I assume you are not including HK-47, T3-M4 and Canderous (Mandalore) since they are part of your party. You also see Bastilla in Korriban flash back (at least I did as a LS male) Jolee is mentioned (though not seen) as some of the history that shouldn't be lost
  17. If you haven't got to Exchange meeting you need to talk to the two weapons dealers. They are having a dispute . . . one of them must go . . . just keep going back and forth until one of them leaves and then you will get asked to visit with the head Exchange guy If you are on the ship . . just go back to the Hawk when you are done
