  1. am pretty sure we got our master of maneuver three via a quest. HA! Good Fun!
  2. aside: be aware magic weapons/armour/items s'posed in the game based 'pon guides or attainable through game file explorations is extreme misleading. not including finnean, the "best" greatsword actual in the game through 90% of act 5 content is probable the +3 holy weapon available from a vendor in act 3. is one reason we were annoyed by the loss o' the skeletal merchant, 'cause at least his hunter inventory included a couple very nice weapons, barding and enhancement items we viewed but failed to purchase during a singular meeting. were a +5 speed longbow which added half mobility skill level to damage we initial did not purchase and regretted when we did not get a second attempt. HA! Good Fun!
  3. the american river is fed directly by folsom lake and is controlled by dams. HA! Good Fun!
  4. the thing is, the spells which do not work for azata were kinda altering the way we anticipated building our party. second breath and heroes never surrender is azata spells which, among other things, refund spells and class abilities to companions. a single spell which purges fatigue, exhaustion, negative levels and refunds all class ability uses and spell slots 7th level and less is indeed mythic, save for fact it don't do anything save purge fatigue, exhaustion and negative levels. is not a new bug either. ... as for our angel run which has been paused, starting tomorrow am gonna dedicate an hour each day to finishing nenio's quest, which means we should be done by halloween, which is only a slight exaggeration. oh, and another tb combat quirk is rift o' ruin and other pit spells do not respect tb mode. damage and need to make saves is happening in rt while you are watching a screen full o' mooks lurch 'cross the screen in tb mode. can't move seelah outta the range o' the rift 'til is her turn? need make same reflex save near a dozen times before is her turn 'cause she is literal unable to move from the rift opening? is a particular frequent recurring foe when doing nenio's quest which spams rift o' ruin, so is an especial annoying bug as you need make a high athletics check to escape the rift and most o' our companions is not equipped to make such checks. HA! Good Fun! ps minor additional bug is the skeletal merchant showed up for us one time in act five, and we were kinda planning on emptying his stock o' high-end items given we got ~3million duckets and nothing 'pon which to spend 'em. coulda invested in army recruitment but such ended up being a waste as we literal wiped out the endgame army before any o' our crusade units had even a chance to act-- our general cast blade of the inheritor, which wiped out entire back row o' the enemy, followed by a single bolt o' justice (twincast ability) to mop up the lone remaining unit.
  5. we were on board... until the 2:20 mark, at which point it took us a moment to realize she were being serious. if all australians is equal naïve and gullible, is no wonder they got bamboozled by the french and now the US on their sub deal. HA! Good Fun!
  6. its less of a problem in tb. our party near invariably uses a character with maximized intimidation and a level of thug, precise to achieve similar fear effects. literal sent baphomet and deskari running multiple times, which is something less than annoying 'cause for two two rounds (the one where they runs away and the one in which they runs back) they may at most achieve a single attack, is flat-footed, has decreased saves from the fear debuff, etc. intimidation fear is also not subject to sr. fear is our friend, and we spam it. but yeah, considering am specific going with a charisma-based spell caster to take advantage of azata spells, having multiple options not work is troubling, and has been revealed in this thread the sooper power am most interested in is not working proper either, so... HA! Good Fun!
  7. our second run is either azata or aeon, but both are bugged multiple ways, so... HA! Good Fun!
  8. ... the possibility o' being able to advance and not know 'til much later such progress is irrevocably flawed is discouraging. well, forewarned is forearmed. HA! Good Fun!
  9. am applauding your husband's tactical awareness in making such a trip on a day when the high temps in the sacramento valley will be in the mid/low 70s and there is no omnipresent layer o' smoke from seasonal wildfires with which to contend. get to enjoy the kinda ideal weather/fire conditions which only exist for brief weeks in the spring and fall. HA! Good Fun!
  10. have discovered a new fix for reading gd posts. whenever he goes on one of his, "they are all bad" benders and adds, "feckless and," we just read as "honorable but," and sudden the crazy from the post disappears. we has done this issue to death though, so am just gonna do uncharacteristic and take the opportunity to recognize genuine feckless is gd's muted response to the clear abrogation o' rule of law and human decency when considering trump actions at the border, in portland and regarding january 6, in spite o' fact he manufactures outrage over biden comments to reporters. should be embarrassed. isn't. the problems biden and Congress face are enormous. perceived incompetence is kinda expected. am nevertheless not gonna argue biden's competence, but am also recognizing that when we listen to the claims from critics o' what biden shoulda' done in __________ or regarding _____________, his shortcomings don't seem near as bad as they does when viewed in a vacuum. am personal one o' the biden critics btw, but at worst he is the banal kinda incompetent we do not lose any sleep concerning. y'know how many calls we has received since biden became President from colleagues and reporters regarding questions o' whether biden were doing unconstitutional? five. has not been potential end of democracy in the US issues neither. trump were different. in spite o' being retired, during the trump Presidency we were fielding calls with disturbing frequency. anybody who suggests an equivalency 'tween trump excesses and biden thus far is, at best, indulging in space cadet levels o' hyperbolic. no surprise who would be doing such. HA! Good Fun!
  11. https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1184370/view/3031477153100377383 edit: for folks who went angel and want to know details o' the 10th level spells HA! Good Fun! ps current haven't played for almost a week. got what looks like 1/3 through the enigma map, with nothing else to do for our current angel inquisitor save threshold, and am kinda unable to summon the will to press forward with nenio's quest. on the positive side o' the ledger, a recent patch quiet fixed the inability to use ranged weapons in tb mounted combat, which means our lann build now works as designed. huzzah.
  12. quick clarifications, 'cause oversimplify is gonna lead to confusion. 1) priests have a duty to God, but not to you. 2) no contract will protect your illegal private communications and activities. if a priest wants to sell your private info or share such with the cops, he is free to do so from a legal pov. government can't compel the priest to share, but you cannot demand the government prevent the priest from divulging private. if law enforcement wants information as part o' a criminal investigation and they got a warrant or legal right to such info, no contract will work to prevent a person from sharing such info. HA! Good Fun!
  13. observation not directed @Raithe, but it nevertheless concerns us that notions o' what is private is varied and often complete wrong. people use "privacy" and pretend it means same for everybody else. what you or bob or mary thinks is private communications or activities, chances are other folks will see different, and most assured does law see different. most simplest guide is that if you share a conversation with anybody other than your priest, doctor or lawyer, you in all likelihood no longer got an expectation o' privacy... and for the doctor the info need be medical relevant. even your spouse don't count 'cause he/she ain't bound to keep confidential but the spouse has the option to keep private. if you conduct an activity in your own home, and with curtains/blinds drawn closed, and nobody save your lawyer is present, then is likely private, unless you is being extreme loud or in other limited circumstances. share info with a faceless vendor is not gonna be deemed private unless you make it so via a contract. share info, even if you thinks you is doing so "anonymous," with your online besties is not private and is little different from a legal standpoint as is going to a public park with a bullhorn and sharing such info with passersby. is gonna be confusing for some 'cause is true people is afforded a reasonable expectation o' privacy from government intrusions, but the problem is once you share your privates with others, those others do not need keep private, and anybody who mighta' overheard or seen not need keep private. all too often people believe privacy applies to any and all embarrassing stuff we don't want anybody else to know 'bout that we nevertheless routinely share with strangers. HA! Good Fun!
  14. ... am s'posing the short clip also applies to the fruits o' clever girl's efforts. two birds. HA! Good Fun! ps am recalling an acquaintance who moved to buffalo from sacramento 'cause o' a promotion. he was an avid skier, so he knew what driving in snow were like and the accommodations one need make for cold weather conditions. am embarrassed to admit we indulged a bit o' schadenfreude during his first (and only) winter along the shores o' lake erie.
  15. the fact life-bonding ain't current working, working as advertised as it did in the beta, is indeed disappointing. you play rt as 'posed to tb, yes? mounted combat aspects is having a few glaring issues in tb. am suspecting more than a few things working in rt is borked in in tb, including tandem trip which only works between rider and mount, and not 'tween multiple animal companions (edit: it isn't working according to our combat log, but can't say what it is doing in other player games.) speaking o' which, charge is most definite not fixed, in spite of claims by owlcat to the contrary. the only surprising aspect to tb mounted combat being so uneven at release is that it were working in beta... although charge has always been an issue. HA! Good Fun!
  16. it works, or at least it did in beta. we had a colluding scoundrel/druid, hoping aivu would benefit from the hunter's teamwork feats. no go. the superpower fixed our aivu problem. warning: a few teamwork feats are bugged tandem trip doesn't seem to be working as advertised, but seize the moment is. speaking o' azata bugs, favourable magic is partial broken as the 75% damage on a successful save aspect is not realized. spells for which damage is halved is not seeing increased damage from favourable magic. HA! Good Fun!
  17. skalds in general are bugged, but court poet is a particular noteworthy outlier as the charisma and int buff isn't being recognized as either a song or rage power, so it can't be augmented in usual ways and doesn't count for skald ability to confer rage powers. for particular parties, the int and charisma buff is nevertheless mighty effective and might be worth the functional lack o' skald compatibility. have mentioned previous in this thread how in spite o' being utter nonsensical from a rpg pov, giving seelah 8 levels o' court poet is an option we has considered and experimented with during the beta... gets her an effective +2 bonus to mark o' justice, guarded stance, uncanny dodge, haste, heroism, good hope, displacement and mirror image, all the charisma and int boosting goodness for ember and/or nenio, etc... HA! Good Fun!
  18. it stacks. its the one aspect of court poet which is not bugged or broken. only slight hyperbole. HA! Good Fun!
  19. angel spells are kinda op in wotr. am gonna admit we purposeful avoided doing merged spellbook for our angel run 'cause playing an angel cleric or oracle effective moves the difficulty slider at least one place to the left. nothing wrong with wanting to feel godlike in a game which pits you against against demon lords and has you challenging godly power, but for our first run facing the newish material in chapters five and six, we wanted a character who would not effective misrepresent game challenges for later choices. try and play an aeon after doing angel cleric and am suspecting we could become frustrated with aeon relative weakness... didn't wanna ruin subsequent wotr runs. also, when we got our mythic choice we knew azata were bugged multiple ways, so we went with choice number two. HA! Good Fun!
  20. good luck. after days in a hospital and following dozens of tests, it's good to remember medicine is as much an art as science. the doctors are no doubt doing their best but sometimes there are no easy answers. your child is getting the best care they can manage, but you are allowed to be frustrated and disappointed if your doctors do not have a definitive answer, or worse, when they provide what seem to be conflicting answers. i have faced such a situation with my own med problems and i assume what you face is a thousand times less pleasant as your child is the one in need of care. so again, good luck.
  21. is not complicated. is literal a different item for each mythic. if were a rl item which need morph into near a dozen different forms, that would be complicated. isn't. the angel benefit is not a complicated bonus. other versions o' the cloak is more complex, but not the angel. HA! Good Fun!
  22. in our playthrough, arguably the single most annoying item bug is areelu's cloak. is resource expensive to acquire, but for angel path it s'posed provides an additional 2d6 holy damage on top of the sword of heaven damage bonuses. we don't care 'bout achievements, but we know we got one for managing to acquire the cloak, so at least the developers think the cloak is a noteworthy item. unfortunate, the cloak does nothing. zip. zero. zilch. tangential but related, one o' the hides of a magical creature locations is no longer providing a hide, so instead o' boots and helmet we needed make a choice 'tween the two, a choice which woulda' been unnecessary if we had not wasted hides on the cloak. swindled by a blind elf? is not a new bug. is hard to believe it is a difficult fix. oh well, is not a crippling loss by any means, but we can't even request a refund from the storyteller who convinced us to buy his fake rolex. HA! Good Fun!
  23. oh, and david lee roth is retiring. is unfair, but the first thing we thought when we saw the picture from the linked article were how much david lee roth looks like maskless darth vader at end o' rotj. is more the complete absence o' color than anything and am hopeful he doesn't have health concerns as is hinted at in the article. HA! Good Fun!
  24. am suspecting that given your obsidian message board experience, you don't actual believe he is being facetious. so, does he take the bait and double-down as is predicted, or... regardless, am applauding hurl for channeling his inner movie velociraptor. temporary nickname you "clever girl" is in no way meant as disrespectful. HA! Good Fun!
  25. wotr companions are, in general, not well written. however, am gonna admit a few o' the evil companions is our relative favorites. regill is tops for us, and while greybor has almost zero depth to his narrative, we ended up enjoying his story more than most other companions. by comparison, the good companions were largely meh. HA! Good Fun!
